La Cabaña Mexican Grill

The staff here is so friendly. Our waiter joked with my nephew and offered him a quarter for the gumball machine if he ate all of his food. Their sopes might be the largest I’ve ever ordered. The guys ordered the birria tacos and they looked and tasted delicious! (Hubby shared a bite).

Great service and good was very authentic and tasty. They don't use pork lard for the refried beans nor to cook the rice and that's great.

Absolutely delicious. We went in about 3:15pm. The spicy salsa is flavorful and spicy, they didn't just add heat but rather put thought into making it tasty. The fajitas are the best I've had with meat and vegetables that actually had the perfect amount of carmelization! I usually hate flour tortillas because they just taste like raw flour but their tortillas must be made in-house...they're thin and soft and have great flavor! And on top of it all everyone was so nice and provided excellent service!!
Only suggestion would be to play the newer latina/mexican music versus the really old stuff. But that is 100% not a deal breaker! We'll be going back again this week :-)

Had the Tacos Enchilados and the consume that came with it was amazing. I could have had that for a meal on its own. We also got the chimichanga and carnitas dinners and everything was perfect. Salsa had a great flavor, not bland like some places serve. Ask for the homemade hot sauce, you will be pleasantly surprised with it I promise. You can tell that the cook takes pride in the freshness and quality of what they serve.

Tried this place for this first time and got the lunch fajitas! Oh man they were so good.

OMG!!! This place is awesome! ¡Qué Magnífico! So pleasantly surprised and wowed! Just superb! The Chips & salsa (fresh & warm), the Fajitas Doblado Especial for 2 (party in my mouth, so pleasing), the margaritas (yummy), and the service (on spot). So love this lil gem!!! New favorite 😍

Best Mexican I've found in the Springfield area so far. It never disappoints. And, even better, their margaritas are delicious. The food portions are large, everything is wonderful

Tracy  did a great job making us feel welcomed and answering all our questions about the menu we were able  to place our order fast and easy. The salsa is good alittle spicy but I like it that way the cheese dip is good alittle on the runny side which is unfortunate but moving on from there we got Chimichanga  sub chicken. It was good could of been fried alittle longer but other then that great we will be back.

The people here are so nice. Very good customer service. Really good food. They took use 30 minutes before closing without hesitation.

We went out for dinner on a Sunday evening, and the other two Mexican restaurants that we normally go to were closed, so we decided to give La Cabaña a try. We are so glad that we did! The staff was friendly, the complementary salsa was fantastic, and the food was great. This will definitely go on our list of Mexican restaurants to go to when we're in Ozark!

This is a new Mexican restaurant in Ozark, MO that replaced what used to be Primas Mexican Grill. I really like what they have done with the facility. The interior is upbeat, open and there is plenty of room. I also enjoyed the Latin music that they stream on the TV/Audio system.

Anytime a new restaurant opens in Ozark, MO, it's a blessing in the sky as there are not enough food options here in town and if it saves me that dreaded trip to Springfield, it's a huge plus! Thankfully this new Mexican restaurant in Ozark, MO is well worth visiting!

The food was on the lighter side (which I am a huge fan of). Everything was grilled just right and none of the food was drenched in oils or sauce. The service was really good, the staff was very friendly and as I mentioned earlier, this place has an upbeat, positive vibe to it. And lets face it, great Mexican food is all about the quality of the chips n salsa and this place passed the litmus test with flying colors! The chips n salsa was absolutely fantastic! This salsa had a nice bite to it and the chips were crunchy, not soggy, or overly oiled.

Everyone knows El Charro's in the area and for an alternative, give this place a try. The food is a lighter here, you won't have that uneasy, regretful feeling after eating your meal and this place just evokes a satisfying sense of euphoria!

A friend and I ate there and had the $25 meal for 2 & she requested the steak in the meal to be medium rare. The food was brought to us pretty disgusting looking, burnt, the ribs looked like there was no meat, just bones and the waitress went and started talking to another waitress and the cook after we told them how the food wasn't right. My friend called up and spoke to the manager the next day because he wasn't there that night. The gentleman invited my friend and I back for a remake of our meal on them. We went back and the manager waited on us, he was very amazing! So kind and welcoming. When he brought out our food, it was beautiful! I mean it looked wonderful and it tasted so good! I highly recommend this place and I'm very thankful that the manger cares about his customers. Very nice man. My friend and I love this place and we go to have our girls out dates.

Huge portion and very tasty mix of beef, chicken, shrimp and veggies. Would definitely order it again.

OMG, the food was AMAZING! Best chili rellenos I have had in a long time! Everything we had was just delicious! Definitely coming back!

Food was delicious! We brought in a large group and not one ordered was messed up and our waiter was pleasant and attentive the entire time. We were traveling through but would definitely stop by if in the area again.

Had an awesome lunch. We have been here several different times but I told my husband the flavor of the food was even better than I remembered since our last visit. My husband never eats the rice but he ate it all. The service was friendly and quick. We did come to realize they were under new ownership. Highly recommend

Very good representation of standard northern Mexican/western American-Mexican food; well-executed and flavorful. There are more authentic restaurants featuring the traditional cuisine of central Mexico in Springfield, but this one is possibly the best of the ones with a more northern/American-influenced focus.

It’s also by far the best in Ozark, which makes me bump it from 4.5 to 5 stars (it’s much better than Primas and light-years ahead of El Charro).

I particularly enjoyed the molcajete (pictured).

Nice spot tucked back in a corner in Ozark! Decided to visit here after an event at church with some friends and I'm glad we did. The food was really good, the inside was clean and the decor is really neat looking. Our waitress was nice and our food was served promptly! Couldn't ask for much more. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try next time you're in Ozark.
