This place is excellent.. excellent food, excellent service. I've never had a bad meal here! I don't believe I've ever had bad service here either. But there is one server that stands out to us & his name is Mason. We've had him several times & he's awesome! He's super friendly, he pays attention to detail & very attentive. Every. Single. Time. You're awesome Mason, thank you so much for all you do!!!💜

Excellent little gem! They have the best crab rangoons that are fresh and hot. Loved the ginger salad and the sushi is wonderful. We’ve been there a few times and the food and service is top notch.

Maru has a very large menu to select from. You can get Springfield style cashew chicken or even a huge helping of Pad Thai! Plus their sushi menu has a lot to offer!

Among the best Aisian fusion we have had! Maru has become one of out regular spots. Presentation and taste is fantastic for both Sushi and dishes.

We live in Springfield but will drive down frequently to go to Maru. The food had been top notch everytime, the service is amazing. We were going about once a week for a long time, but it's been about a year since we had been there. When we went last night, our server remembered us and was happy to see us back. Service and food are the reasons people continue to go to restaurants, other places could use a refresher course from Maru. Love. Love. Love.

The food here is excellent. The price is fair for the quality of food. I recommend the Monkey bites for a starter.

Best sushi ever. There is really nothing bad at this restaurant. All their food is wonderful and their service is great.

I absolutely LOVE Maru. It is the BEST sushi in the southwest Missouri area, and you can't change my mind. The fish is always fresh. Most everything is created in house. One of my favorite appetizers is the kikomaki with their homemade peanut sauce. You can never go wrong the the rainbow roll. My personal favorite roll is the baked salmon roll along with the Kamehameha, but any roll you choose will not disappoint!

I’m not kidding when I say this was probably some of the best sushi I have EVER eaten. We tried three different varieties including this delicious Strawberry Fields one. Everything was incredibly fresh too! We got ours to go on a busy Friday night, and they still managed to have it ready in under 20 mins. A lot of the reviews talked about this place being a little pricey, but its soooo worth it. We will definitely be back!

We love eating here! My husband and daughter always order the general chicken and I usually order the shrimp in lobster sauce or Maru soup. My son loves the Gyoza. We all also enjoy many of the sushi rolls. Service is great and the place is always clean.

I would recommend allowing a little extra time to receive your food. This isn’t a glorified fast food restaurant where you order and have your entire meal 10 minutes later. The food is fresh here. Plan to enjoy your time and maybe order an appetizer to share or some cocktails while you’re waiting for your food.

Server was friendly and very accommodating, I was there first thing in the morning for my grandmas birthday and he made her a kiwi strawberry sorbet. The sushi was amazing, I will definitely be coming back!
