Best local restaurant for home cooked meals. My parents always request a meal here whenever they visit from out of town. Dad ordered the all you can eat catfish. I got the chicken livers and hubby ordered a cheeseburger. Everything came out hot and cooked fresh. And don’t leave without getting dessert! Lots of great options!! Our waitress was the best! Came away from supper with a new friend 😊

Rosie Jo’s Got me right in the childhood today. It’s been a while since I’ve been here. They used to be located next to the old Ozark Mill in a small shopping center. I forgot how personal the service is. The home made favorites (Onion Rings!) and how I feel like I’m at a Family friends for Sunday lunch. Best Service I’ve had, EVER!! Sarah, our Waitress just had a warmness about her. She took our order and the order behind us, didn’t write a thing down and got it all correct. To top it off… you get a little Ice Cream treat after your entree. All of the Staff greet you with that same friendly smile. Just a great place to be in the Ozarks.

Rosie Jo's Cafe does a great job of branding on radio. Today was the day radio worked and had a great breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were tasty. Basic 2 egg, hash Browns and bacon cooked perfectly crisp. Ozark location has alot of glass and was a little warm, nice decor with small town feel

Dropped in for lunch today. It wasn't too busy, we got a table right away. The food was delicious. We had the Chicken Fried Steak, and the Meatloaf. Both were exactly how you'd want it to be from a favorite diner. Plenty big portions, real mashed potatoes, creamy white gravy. Fresh corn with mine, brown beans with his. The beans were yummy! I'd go back just for a big bowl for those!
And, it comes with ice cream for dessert! Prices are reasonable, portions are huge, food was delicious, the service was a bit slow, but overall it was definitely worth a return visit! Their onion rings and burgers looked amazing!

My husband and I had the burger and onion rings. The burger was fresh and the rings had a light crispy breading. We were able to get in and find a seat right away and the staff were very welcoming. After 2 weeks of holiday traveling this was a very welcome lunch stop. And whatever you do… Don’t forget to get a piece of pie!

What can I say - I LOVE this place!! Chicken gizzards with add on fried fish fillet is my favorite!! Best cheeseburgers also!! Where can you go and get a free ice cream sundae with every meal?? Rosie Jo’s!! It is always clean, friendly staff, and the best food anywhere! Always busy there and a favorite go-to for me and my family! And Sarah is our favorite waitress - she sees us walk in the door, comes to greet us, and always remembers my name!

Best home cooked food in the area! If you go for fried chicken plan on 30 minutes because they cook it fresh and it rivals my mother's fried chicken and that says a lot because hers was awesome!

Let’s get the only issue I had out of the way: our food took quite a while to arrive. I’d never been there before so I don’t know if it’s typical, but it was a solid wait.

But ya know what? Who cares? The food was clearly fresh from the oven and the fryer; hadn’t been sitting around. The waitress was incredibly friendly and made sure our glasses stayed full.

I already loved this little kind of places anyway, so I was excited to find one in Ozark while we were visiting. Chicken fried steak was super awesome. Mashed potatoes were clearly homemade. My wife’s fried chicken and baked potato were super and tasted great. The green beans are yummy too. And don’t forget about the pie! Holy crap… some of the best lemon meringue I’ve ever had in my life! My wife opted for the peach pie, warmed up, with vanilla soft serve. Are you kidding me? Super good!!!

Seriously, I can’t wait to go back here. :-)

Solid comfort food for a weary traveler or business lunch in casual atmosphere. Staff were friendly and patient. Very helpful to make our visit comfortable and relaxing.

This is the Best Place to Eat if you want to have a real Home Cooked Meal, made from scratch!!! Friday's is all the Fried Catfish you can eat, that's fresh catfish fillets, hand breaded and deep fried with freshly cut prepared French Fries or freshly cut and lightly breaded Onion Rings and freshly prepared homemade Coleslaw!!! Don't forget to leave room for Rosie's very large variety of homemade Pies!!! If you're looking for something fast to eat, Don't stop here, BUT, if you are looking for something to eat that's Absolutely Delicious and it's not prepared, (Cooked) until you order it, so Everything is Fresh, Hot and Cold and the Ice Tea tastes like it was made only an hour before you arrived for dinner!!! Rosie Jo's is my home away from home when I am desiring a home cooked meal like our Mommas and Grandmothers use to cook for us........I head to Rosie Jo's in Ozark, Missouri on South Street and 15th Street.

Had the burger and onion rings and they were phenomenal! Such a great restaurant with affordable prices. That was neck and neck with top places I have eaten. Will be back!

The food and the staff were absolutely amazing. The food had enormous portions and very, very good. The staff was very welcoming and stayed on top of our order the entire time. The only downside about the atmosphere was the other customers, perhaps further spacing between customers might be better. We were sat next to an older couple that for some reason decided to make fun of my sons shoes. This is not a flaw on the restaurant's behalf because they cannot control their customers, which is why I gave 5 stars. Mean people exist everywhere, unfortunately.

I had the chicken fried chicken dinner (boneless breast butterfly cut) with mashed potatoes and white gravy and the veggie of the day which was green beans. Also comes with Texas toast. My favorite meal

Absolutely the best pork tenderloin sandwich period. It also comes with fresh had cut french fries and if you like onion rings they are amazing.
I have also had their fried chicken. There is a 30 minuet wait for the fried chicken but it is well worth the wait. This is simple down home cooking at its best! The staff is very friendly and the taste and quality of the food keeps me coming back for more.

Best chicken around. Great food and service. Huge portions great prices!

If you haven't eaten here, what are you waiting for??? We were given a gift card from a friend, and although it's out of the way for us, we stopped in for a bite. Oh my, are we glad we did! Portions are large, and prices are small. Service was good. The fried chicken sandwich was excellent. I think it's supposed to come with lettuce, but mine was plain. The onion rings were second to none. Try to avoid peak times, as they stay busy (for a reason).
