Catfish Wharf

We were passing through Kennett on a long road trip and needed a meal. The food was quick, delicious and abundant. The service was excellent as well. We’ll surely stop here again next time we pass through!

We just learned that this place was open and had moved, so we went to try it. We didn't realize that they closed at 8 pm and arrived at 7:45. They wanted us to stay and took our orders. They have really good fish and loved the hushpuppies! Waitress was new and friendly, but she did forget to bring us a refill on drinks. We will definitely be back!!

Food and service was great little pricie on some and the air must not have been working cause it's was very warm

Food was absolutely awesome. A nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great service. The hushpuppies was super tasty. Best ones I've had in a while. Everything was delicious. I will be back and soon. Prices are good, portions are decent. Had a great experience and y'all please keep doing what you doing.

Big Herb has noticed this place being fairly busy on his Sunday travels through Kennett. So today the wife and I decided to see what the fuss was all about. We weren't disappointed. We were greeted immediately upon entering with smiles. We found our table and began conversation with our server Amber. It was glorious from the start. Amber took our drink order, brought us menus and silverware. We looked over the menu while the drinks arrived. The wife chose the chicken tenders and fries. I had the 3 piece catfish plate. I chose okra and side salad with ranch for my 2 sides. Her plate came with hush puppies but she put them on my plate. The food came quick! The environment was laid back. Very clean. All the staff was cool. Amber's service was strong throughout the experience. Big Herb strongly recommends this place if you're hungry and want a quality meal at a value. Solid gold! We will be back again to explore the menu further.

Leah Jo was our waiter, she was amazing. We absolutely love this place but there for a while we had bad experience with waiters. It was incredible to have such a warming experience.

The fish was great. I also had the onion rings and green beans, which were also great.

Food was hot fresh and amazing service was great atmosphere was very comfortable.

This place is fantastic. We just fed 6 people for around $60. The ladies were super sweet and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend the crab cakes and fried green tomatoes!

Good food, great customer service! Amber was our waitress and she was friendly and funny. She made good recommendations from the menu and was very attentive even though she was one of two waitresses and the restaurant was over half full. The hushpuppies were perfect!! Many times restaurants make them too dense, but these were light and the flavor was spot on.

The waitress Amber was very friendly but I felt the supervisor was very unprofessional her and some of the young employees sat behind the counter and laughed and talked about Amber. The last time I was in there I took a picture of my waitress and other employees sitting behind the counter on their phones laughing and talking and she never came to checked on me until she brought my ticket if you want good 😊 service request Amber. This is my favorite place to eat catfish. I'm from Kennett and used to go there all the time. I've moved away and don't get to go as often; sadly. All their food is GREAT and perfect sweet tea, like I was always used to. The fried catfish is tender and flakey/ perfectly seasoned. The hushpuppies are crisp and tender inside and the pickled green tomatoes are amazing!!! Oh and yummy fried pies too...

Some of the best fried green tomatoes I have ever had! I liked that the fish sandwich was catfish. The girl at the register was informative and friendly. Someone needs to get her a tip jar.

I will start off with how amazing the staff is, they are very attentive and sweet! Now we are from south Texas and decided since this is the first place we found that offered a "cajun boil" that we had to try it. It is not bad or wrong. Its just not what we are accustomed to. The rest of our group had grilled fish and fried corn on the cob. No complaints. All in all I'm giving a 5 star on service and food!

This place is incredible!! Not fancy on the inside or outside, but the Staff is downhome and super friendly and helpful. Great Catfish, and hands down the best hushpuppies I have ever ever eaten!! I ordered a dozen to go! Portions are generous and prices are great! This is our new go to place when in this area..
