When they say, "support small businesses, "... they mean this classic little spot! Very affordable prices. Extremely nice staff & amazing food & the best blackberry shake ever! Great visit on the way home to St. Joseph, Mo !

Stopped in on the way back home from St. Louis. I was looking for something that wasn't a chain and decided to give Tastee Treat a shot. I'm glad I did, as the service was fast and friendly. I ordered the hamburger (loose meat), fries and drink combo. Plus, after surveying the menu board to my astonishment, they had a blackberry shake (I've never seen blackberry as an option for a shake, anywhere). I'm glad I gave this place a go, as everything was delicious. A local, that I was in line with was complaining about the food. I thought it a shame how he doesn't appreciate having this slice of Americana in his town. I enjoyed it and I'm positive you will too!

Small town food with a great menu and so many different flavored ice cream so look up the special for that week .. it’s only 30 miles and worth the drive either sit outside there or run over to Pershing park or Locust creek covered bridge

Absolutely delicious! Stop here everytime I go to the dentist. They have over 15 flavors for shakes! Love their tenderloins! Lots of options! Well worth going for a drive to try them out! Put this place on your maps!

Great food and great ice cream just all around amazing!!

Beautiful day for some shakes. Peanut butter, cherry- neither one disappointed. Had to wait a bit, but they were busy & working as fast as they could. Tastee Treat has been around as long as I can remember (at least 60 years). Remember chocolate dip cones as a treat with Dad as a child. Glad to have a hometown ice cream place!

Been going here since I was a kid. Glad to see this place is still around serving the same great burgers and milkshakes. Took my kids there today for their first time and they loved their meals and especially their shakes.

First time there it was marvelous ! Fast inexpensive and better than all the other ice cream places I've been too ! Very friendly people it can't get any better !

Best Milkshakes in town! Love the staff love so many different things on the menu. Love that you can have an old fashioned sit on the benches outside and just enjoy the old time memorys

Stopped in after a long day of fishing. Staff was polite with smilling faces. Food was hot and my shake was refreshing!

The medium sundae was huge and had at least half a cup of syrup. Nice staff and reasonable price.

We love the tenderloins and gems. The girls that work there are nice. Prices are be reasonable.

I've been going here for 29 years i love it i love the service the atmosphere and the food. Its always delicious. I've drove two hours each time i go just for the food. I hope they stay in bussiness forever because i dont know one other place in all of the united states that you can get a Wilbur Special or "BETTER BURGER" like their's. I recommend this place 100% to anyone and i challenge any place that offers a "maid rite" to make better sandwiches than this place.

I went here so much as a kid. The butter brickle was my favourite ice cream flavour. I'm very happy to see this place is still up and running.

Best food ever! Highly recommend the large wilbur special, potato gems, and marshmallow shake. If you don't like Tastee Treat we can't be friends (I really mean that)

Had an all chocolate icecream banana split and a parfait and they were excellent. Service was great and for the time I was there waiting was short. Fully recommend this place for quick meals and delicious desserts.

The best malts! Great food and other ice cream options. I very much enjoyed my purchase there! I was sad it was gone so fast lol.. but once you start consuming what you buy there, you just cant help but to keep goin lol
