Eagles Nest Cafe

The food was great. It reminded me of my grandparents cafe. The staff is great and friendly. People gather with friends and visit.

I didn’t even eat here, just stopped on the side of the road to rest during a road trip. I lost an AirPod on the side of the road and didn’t notice until I was way further down the road. The employee I talked to quickly volunteered to find it, which she did within 30 seconds, then volunteered to mail it back to my home in Utah. If their food is half as good as their service I’m sure it’s amazing!!!

Two had breakfast. Pancakes are huge, light, fluffy!! Awesome! One had burger and fries. Good stuff!! Banana pie was outstanding! Will be back! Thanks!!

I really like this place except for the language used by the owner and her workers.

Great food, fun place to stop while traveling on 36 highway.

Great place for friends to visit while our order was prepared. Cheeseburger and fries plate was a hit with our guest. Husband chose the Grilled Tenderloin with fries. I also chose the Grilled Tenderloin with onion rings. The rings were hand made, which made them very delicious. Husband heard that the homemade pie was sold out - or he might have tried a slice.

Definitely a little jewel in the rural community. Great service and food was great. I really like that you get your eggs cooked exactly like you ordered. Have not ate lunch there but I hear it is great "home cook" style food

Stopped in on a drive from Detroit to Kansas City. Food was great. Seems like a great little local place.

Very good/tasty home cooked b-fast. It's where the farmers/locals meet & grab a bite. Is older but clean. Can see "mom" cooking thru serving window. Very friendly!!

Stopped in Eagles Nest Cafe off Mo 36 @ Meadville, MO. It had enough parking for our 30Ft RV & our Tow car. Breakfast was great. The 1 Pancake for less than $3. WOW.
My wife had eggs, hash browns toast & bacon.
The 🥓 is to die for. Not fancy, but good country cooking! Also available home made pie. We got a slice of pineapple upside down cake to go🤗

In 2001, my mom and I got in a horrible accident on the highway. It happened to be right outside this cafe. By the time we stopped rolling staff and guests from this cafe were already at the car pulling out the windshield so we could crawl out. There were two (or more) compassionate women who worked at or owned the cafe who cared for us thorough our shock, helped call family, and kept the cafe open late to feed us and wait the two hours for our ride to come.

We were cleaning out the house and stumbled on a scrap paper with the address of this cafe and it jogged the old memory. Hence the 21 year belated review. The people of this cafe were so kind in a really hard moment in our lives and their kindness is still not forgotten. Thank you!

Everything we ordered was amazing, the egg and ham omelet was to die for! The owner was super friendly and fun to chat with. You can tell that she LOVES what she does! Everything is made fresh and from scratch as far as I could tell. You will not be disappointed.

If you want fancy, this isn't the place for you. If you want good, home cooking..you'll be full and satisfied. We're from small town and this place was perfect for us. Very friendly and if we're ever back this way we'll stop again. Thank you!
