I loved everything about this place!

I came here after a long hike around the Silver Mine.

The pumpernickel with dill dip was much needed after the long hike. And when I asked for a coffee with bailey's, they were happy to accommodate.

I also ordered a Greek salad, the patty melt, and the pretzel with cheese.

Everything was delicious.

The music was Frank Sinatra and other "swing" and "sing" Era artists. 30's-50's musicians. It was lovely.

I loved that there was a combination of family and classy types of people. You don't have to feel like you're supposed to be dressed up to go here.

Next time I visit, I plan on trying the Cajun pasta.

I also want to try what looked something like a chocolate martini.

The atmosphere. The service. The food. TOP NOTCH!!! I highly recommend The Depot Cafe!!! Everything is fantastic!!

This place is so good! I wish we had be able to come back for dinner. Everything was so cute and I love the historic features! My Turkey wrap was perfect for lunch. Our server was so nice and I’ve never had such good service before. We will be back!

Went there for a mother's day dinner and everything was good. We started off with their stuffed mushrooms and it's the best stuffed mushrooms I've ever had. Their Hungarian mushroom is also good. Basically we go for the mushrooms. We got the rib eye for two and it was delicious. Also had dessert and it was amazing. Their service was speedy and on point, I had no complaints. This is one of my favorite places to go to and I always recommend that everyone give it a shot.

Best bread pudding I’ve ever eaten. The only thing I’m upset about is that I didn’t find this restaurant sooner. Took my wife today, had the lobster roll, and a few other items as we wanted to sample the specials. Everything was spectacular. Easily accessible for a wheelchair. Highly recommend.

The food was amazing. The pretzels were the best I've ever had, even compared to Gus's in St. Louis or Hotel Audubon. My mom ordered the garlic chicken and I ordered the railroad porkchops, both were great. I had the ceasar salad and she had the chipotle, cheddar potato soup, both really nice, but Gary brought us a sample of the beer cheese onion soup and that is definitely what we would get next time. 😋 I don't normally even like onions and that was amazing. Atmosphere was a perfect balance to where it would be comfortable if you wanted to grab a burger and beer with friends or cute enough to go for a fancier dinner with a significant other. Our server was really friendly and answered all our questions. It was our first time there, but definitely not the last. Next time, we're hoping to save room to try desert. Also, normally I take better photos, but the food looked soooo good, we went for it before I took a picture 😅.

Excellent dining choice. One will easily notice the food prepared here is carefully crafted and very high quality.

The Depot's 5 year anniversary of being in business is fast approaching! Ate dinner there last night and I can't get over how delicious the the food is. The Pressed Dip Sandwich with pepper jack was phenomenal. The pretzel sticks and beer cheese was the best I've ever had. So glad this restaurant is in our community.

Food was amazing waitress was so sweet, love the food every time. Absolutely love the atmosphere, so relaxing.

The food and the service was wonderful! We are so happy that we found this place on our road trip from Arkansas to Minnesota. It was my favorite meal ❤❤❤❤❤

My lady and I went into the Depot Cafe for a late Saturday lunch. They had an early bird dinner which was a huge ribeye steak for two. It came with two sides, fancy mashed potatoes and the other side, we chose broccoli. Sweet tea and salad. We were so full that we took the white chocolate cheesecake home. Which was our dinner because we ate adults and can eat desserts for dinner.

This is a gem of a restaurant in Fredericktown.

Located in a restored train depot, this cafe offers a selection of sandwiches, pasta, salads, and dinner dishes. The food is excellent and expertly prepared, and the service is attentive. This is an excellent place to enjoy lunch or dinner (or both 😁).

I ate here for lunch one afternoon. I had the chicken and shrimp Cajun fettuccine with a glass of Crane Lake wine and lemon water. It was delicious. The best meal I've had in a REALLY long time. The water actually tasted really fresh, the wine was sweet and savory, but a little obvious underaged. It came with a appetizer of your choice of soup, I got the potato soup. I'm a huge potato soup fan and this place gave me new expectations on what potato soup should taste like. I ended my meal with thriple chocolate cheese cake. It was a little dry and the crust felt slightly burnt but overall had great taste. I ate everything on my plates and in my cups and would recommend anyone coming here. I will definitely start coming here more often.

The best steak you will ever eat. The soups are always good as well. Staff are incredibly friendly. Very clean.

These guys are always very friendly. The food is great and atmosphere is different than any other place in town. Saturday night pork chops are my favorite!

Cool place and the food was delicious. I had the pressed french dip and it was fantastic. Also, they told me the carrot cake was made in house so I had to have it - I highly recommend leaving room for dessert!

Had an awesome experience. I ordered steak and stuffed mushrooms followed by a lemon cheesecake. The food was stupendous and the service was wonderful. Great family atmosphere.
