Raspberry's BBQ

A quick Google search pulled this place up & we decided to give it a go. Glad we did!

We went after lunch rush, so the place was a bit more quiet, which we enjoyed.
Service was phenomenal! Food arrived super quick and was delicious. The sides were as good as if not better than the entree. The only complaint was maybe they were a bit stingy with the portions of the sides.

Establishment was clean and had plentiful seating inside and out. Prices range varies, but most entrees are mostly moderate to high.
We would go back.
Recommended.

Probably the best BBQ I've ever had, and I've had out all over the country! Love that this is a woman owned business! The Porky Fries are to for die for and I could not finish a half order! Portions are generous and service is friendly and quick! If we're ever in the area we will be back! Might be worth the drive from Hannibal!

Nice and clean and super roomie! Nice friendly staff. Fast service. Food was Excellent! Hubby and I shared a combo plate that was a very good portion as we asked for a to go box. The baked beans and hash brown casserole were epic! I also had a $2 margarita and boy I tell ya!

Having my 18 wheeler fixed at shop across the street. Walked over and had me the Potato skins..delicious...and there Sampler meat platter...which was Awesome...big portions for an amzing price...20$...Mac and cheese was cheesy and beans were good. Shelby the server was attentive and her smile made my day. Plus food came out hot and in a timely manner. Will Def stop in when I am back thru here. Great spot.. just wish I could have some drinks and relax.

As parents of the bride planning an out-of-town wedding our daughter’s wedding at Emerson Fields could not have been more perfect. Raspberry’s BBQ was the recommended caterer and they out did themselves. From the initial meeting to the end of the night their service and food was 5 stars. Our guests are still talking about the food and how delicious everything was. Maria and the staff were attentive and helped make the night go smoothly from cocktail hour to late night snack. Thanks for all you did to make the wedding meal be one to remember

Highly recommended! The food is fantastic, the service is great and the price is perfect! My wife and I ordered a combo plater, one Guinness each AND dropped a 25% tip. We left stuffed and only spent $34.55! You will not regret it! We only wish we had met the owner so we could beg them to open another place 30min north where we live (even have a location picked out for them). We will definitely be back again and again.

I just had Raspberry’s BBQ at my friends wedding, and they had the absolute BEAT brisket I’ve ever had in my life. Hey also had a very tasty bit of chicken breast, perfectly cooked.

Macon might be a bit of a drive for me but I would absolutely make the trip once they reopen!!!

It was lucky to visit this place by chance while I was traveling (and is unfortunate b/c it takes three hours to get there from Lawrence). The best barbecue restaurant among those I have tried in Kansas/Missouri in terms of the balance between taste and price.

I got the ribs. I think it was the best BBQ meat I have ever had. Had a good bite yet came off the rib easily. Nice smoke ring, but no tso oversmoked that yu can't taste the pork which I guess some people prefer, but I don't. The sides were good. Sauces fairly sweet, but good.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Heidi and her team cater our son's wedding reception. If I could, I would give them a glowing 10-star review! The food was as delicious as we had hoped, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service they provided.

During the event, there was an unexpected situation when the bartender (hired from a different company) had to leave. Without hesitation, Heidi stepped in to help, despite our attempts to insist otherwise. Not only did she take charge and ensure the bar continued to run smoothly, but she also thoughtfully collected all the cash tips left for the previous bartender and generously gifted them to the wedding couple.

Heidi's team truly went above and beyond, making the day even more special. We are immensely grateful for their professionalism, dedication, and kindness. If you're looking for a catering service that not only delivers delectable food but also goes the extra mile in ensuring a seamless and memorable event, Heidi and her team are the ones to choose!

Great small town BBQ! Stopped here driving from Jefferson City to Des Moines and I’m so glad I did. Side salad was simple but good. My tortellini salad wasn’t too bad (little strong on black olives) but the meat was fantastic! Ribs were tender and juicy. Briskets had great flavor and was tender and juicy. Finally the shredded pork was really flavorful. Almost didn’t need any sauce, but I did enjoy the Carolina and Bourbon sauces the most. Only criticism I’d have is their spicy sauce had no spice.

Food and drinks were great, atmosphere, music, great food, amazing service from our waitress Holly!! This was mine and my son’s first time here and we will definitely be back 🌈

Best pulled pork sandwich I ever had and our waitress was an extremely sweet gal.
All 4 of us at my table ate EVERYTHING on our plates which is very very rare. I'll definitely have to visit again soon.

Simply awesome. I had combo plate and all meats were delicious. Sides were great too. I had never been here before and was concerned since it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere and entrance hides the restaurant. But pulled in and there were cars parked everywhere. Great choice and hope to be back on my next trip.

I'm sure it's good any day, BUT WING WEDNESDAY is amazing........ they put the wings on the smoker for flavor and a bit of char. We've only ever gotten the sweet hot chili glaze. But it's perfect. Sticky, sweet and just enough heat to tingle your lips!!! Had the pulled pork Texas toast sandwich was good too. French fries hot and crispy. Tenderloins are also dang good. Never any room for dessert so you're on your own there. Staff kind quick courteous.

This might be the best place to eat! We've been here a couple of times now and the food is amazing the wait staff is simply some of the best we have experienced...

Awesome place! Great food and service! Food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Service was prompt and friendly! BBQ was cooked to the right texture and had the correct smoke flavor.

When I was looking for BBQ restaurants to visit while I was in town, this place was one of the first to pop up. I checked over their menu & pix & I was sold!
Unfortunately, it appears they suffered a very VERY bad fire.
While writing my original review, I was kinda irked cuz Google had me drive thru a construction zone which isn't safe for anyone, especially when only visiting the area.

While I completely understand this horrible situation isn't the fault of the business, it should at least update the listing to show they're temporarily closed to walk in customers. (They're open for catering though!)

This being said, I am waiting with EXCITEMENT for when they're able to reopen to walk in customers!
But if you needed them for catering, they're open for business!!!
Color me peanut butter & JEALOUS!

Heidi and her staff are simply amazing. We have frequented the restaurant several times and have never had a bad experience, only the most delicious food and drinks! It’s definitely a must try and we are so lucky to have her in Macon!

Absolutely loved this place!! Amazing food, large portions at great prices! Gretta the as an awesome server as she handle are large group superbly! If I am ever in the area again I will most definitely be back!!
