Long Branch State Park

Always love visiting Long branch. Fishing, camping, swimming! Such a great family experience.

This is a beautiful large lake in MO. I arrived towards the evening and got set up. They came by the next day and I took care of all my payments. It was nice, quiet, clean. Raccoons tried to get my stuff but I scared them away with my flood light. I let em sit and trill awhile cuz I like the sound. They're funny little creatures.

So cute and CLEAN! Beautiful area. So family friendly. The camp hosts are just amazing people with a real heart for what they do.

Such a cute place ! You can tell they care about the place,it is very well kept up . The restrooms and showers are so nice to have and are clean . The park manager is so sweet and nice . The kids were able to bring their bikes to ride back and forth from the playground, which they loved .We adored our stay here and this was our first trip. We will definitely be back .

We stopped at this beautiful campground for an overnight stop on our trip. We were helped by the nicest camp host we have ever met!

The campground is nestled along the shore of an awesome lake. There are older 30 amp sites in a loop beside a 50 as mp loop of newer sites. Some sites are very level and spacious and others are more rugged. Both loops have wifi and the showerhouse is very nice.

Great State Park with everything you need. Ginormous lake with great fishing, lots of nature trails, amazing sandy beach with a roped off area for swimming, clean well maintained shower facility & restrooms & spectacular views everywhere. Covered 2 seasons in 5 days. Arrived on Sunday with snow & by Thursday it was 79 and plenty of sunshine. Included are a few pictures of the largest controlled burn I've ever seen.

This park is a beautiful place to visit. I was very clean, I didn't see 1 piece of trash anywhere. I didn't get a chance to swim or fish but any outdoor activity would be pleasant here I am sure! Found these weird mushrooms, someone told me they are False Morels and not to eat them! 🤷 🤔I am not in the habit of eating random fungus! However I appreciate the sentiment! 🤣😂

This is a great park with a beautiful lake, a campground which is really close to the water, 3 boat launches, and a nice beach (unfortunately, the beach was closed due to high water when we were there). It also offers opportunities for fishing, bicycling, hiking, and picnicking.
The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and I will probably plan a future camping trip at Long Branch State Park. If you love water sports this is definitely the park for you!

Beautiful park. Awesome lake. Great camping spots all tree covered. The camp ground host was amazing. Very accommodating.

One of BEST State parks in our tens of thousands miles travels by RV. Been moving back to Colorado & this is PERFECT nites rest stop on a 3 day jaunt. Fantastic showers, toilet facilities. Most of sites have lovely shade trees. Very level sites. Electric only, no water. There is dump station when u first come in, just fill up w water & sh be fine. VERY helpful host - needed oil for engine & he had extra! Weekdays very few campers - weekends are usually full. BEAUTIFUL lake- would love to boat there.

BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN AS WELL! It's been a long time since I was entranced by scenery at all and I quickly was involved in this State Park and Recreational site.

Great place to stop and camp. Quiet and peaceful. Shout out to the campground host who hooked it up with a beautiful campsite on the way to Montana.

Decided to stop by and enjoy this lake on the way home. My kids of course loved it. Next time we are in town we’ll definitely stop by again in the summer time…

Loved tent camping here! First time and nothing bad to say. We had a great time. Very well kept and designed. Nice wooded tent camping sites. Camp host was very knowledgeable and polite. We we will back!

Nice lake In Macon county Missouri big beach lots of picnic tables with grills .. has a great ramp easy in and out ,fishing dock convenient store and campground close but quite has full hookups to primitive easy put in for canoeing at campground

Quiet park. Not many people, I stayed here on a early Monday in May. Host followed me through park to my reserved campsite.

Great place to camp. Water was easy to access on a hot day.
