My dog sees Dr. King for cardiology, and I have been so happy with the treatment he has received from everyone at the office. I especially love that they email a discharge summary after every visit, which allows me to keep on top of his complex health needs. Strongly recommend this place to care for your pet. I have to spiritually subtract half a star because all of the chairs in the waiting room have arms, which is uncomfortable for me as a very fat person. Still, a small complaint in the scheme of things.

Outstanding practice! If your pet needs dental care this is the place to go. My 19.5 year old cat experienced a tooth resorption but has a very complex medical history. From the very first call I placed, Jessica set my mind at ease and facilitated a consult. She was very patient with my many questions and full of compassion. When I met Dr. Mendelsohn she completed a very thorough history taking into consideration my cat’s complicated health situation. She did a complete exam and treated us both with such kindness and compassion fully detailing the benefits and risks of surgery with her complex history including kidney disease. Then we saw Dr. Caniglia as well. She discussed the entire anesthesia situation in senior cats and in particular my senior cat’s situation. Again she detailed the risks and benefits. In the end we decided to wait on the surgery because my cat is still happy, eating and drinking well with pain controlled with medication and she is at higher risk for anesthesia complications. If that wasn’t the case we’d be in a different place in the discussion. The point to this long review is they truly care about the wellbeing of your pet, its not just about booking procedures. I am so very grateful to both doctors for their candor and honest concern for my cat. They helped me tremendously.

Friendly, comprehensive and timely care. I also like that they were very encouraging of follow up contact and questions. It's a lot when your pet is ill and you're in control of their care. I felt supported and welcomed.
Picture is us parked in front. Lots of parking. Easy to find, next driveway after ER vet.

What a wonderful experience, from first contact when I made the call for the appointment all the way through to checking on how things were going after the cleaning and extractions. I will be recommending their services to all my friends. My medically sensitive dog needed extra care and received it!

This is a great place to take your dog to have his teeth checked out. They also have cardiologist at this location. They care about your pet and answer all your questions because they know you worry about your pet. It is located near the animal hospital nearby and they answer phones when you call for information!

VDS in Mt Laurel was absolutely wonderful in taking care of our 13 year old Yorkie's dental issues. She had severe gum hyperplasia and a benign mass. Dr Eroshin consulted with us in the morning and went over everything with us thoroughly. He did let us know it was possible that our dogs remaining teeth may all need to come out depending what the X-rays showed.

I did a lot of research and asked several of the vets and vet techs we know and use here in NJ who was the best as we will travel anywhere and spend whatever is necessary to give our pets the best care possible. VDS was referred to very highly by those we spoke with and the 5 star reviews here are also accurate in my opinion.

Because our dog was 13, I wanted a dedicated anesthesiologist as well to monitor her throughout the procedure which VDS has on staff there. This gave us peace of mind having a veterinarian anesthesiologist specialist plus it allows the surgeon to just focus on the surgery.

Our dog ultimately had her remaining 14 teeth pulled as the X-rays showed how bad the tooth to bone had deteriorated. Dr. Eroshin showed us the X-rays when we came to pick her up in the afternoon.

The entire staff from the time when we booked the appointment to when we arrived, during the surgery with updates and after the surgery were all 5 star. The staff there was helpful, friendly and they all seemed to truly care about the animals coming in for surgery or consults as did the doctor.

These doctors are the best of the best. People don't realize how many years of school, residency and training is required to become a vet let alone a specialist like those at VDS. I did see some reviews here complain that it can be expensive and it is, but the time and money required to get to this level of skill & expertise is quite significant. Usually 4 years undergrad then 4 years vet school and then additional for specialty. Then there is the skill and expertise that comes simply from time practiing.

It reminds me of the story of the great Picasso:

Picasso drew a sketch on a napkin. A lady recognized him and asked how much she could pay for the napkin. Picasso said $20,000. The lady was shocked, “But it only took you two minutes to draw.” Picasso replied, “No, it took me my whole life.”

In summary we were very satisfied with VDS, Dr Eroshin as well as the staff. Our Yorkie did great after surgery and is running around happy as can be. The mass is gone and her severe dental disease is no more. Thank you Dr. Eroshin and all of VDS for taking such good care of our little girl.

Excellent care here by cardiologist, Dr. Megan King. The prices are really high but that seems to be the norm in veterinary care. The staff and nurses are all super friendly and kind. I recommend highly.

Dont know why it took me so long to write this, but Dr. Rice provided outstanding care and saved my boxer's life. Ruby had a fast growing tumor on her jaw, Dr Rice was the perfect mix of compassionate and professional. He provided us a few options to assess and remove the tumor based on budget, along with his recommendations of which way to go. Constant commu ication was there, including phone call updates during the surgery. More than anything, you can tell he genuinely cares. Havent had such a good experience with any dog or human doctor. As a bonus, Ruby is going on 4 years tumor free since the surgery. No doubt in my mind things wouldnt have gone this way if we selected a different surgeon.

From the most neurotic dog mom , this place is a gem. From the custom made folder her paperwork comes in , to the level of communication they provide once you leave , I am somehow as ease after a very risky procedure for my 14 year old baby.
I was never pressured into making any decisions, even after we were in the thick of it , I was warned of the risks and comforted with my concerns. I felt supported and still do now that I’m home with questions about the future . The entire staff has been sympathetic of my anxiety and understand how important my furbaby is to her family.
It wasn’t a short commute but worth every mile and penny with the level of support they continue to provide to us. A huge thank you to the doctors and Cody !

If I could give more than five stars, I would! After an urgent care visit revealed my senior pup needed dental work I sent a message to VDS requesting more information. Despite being outside of business hours, they contacted me and got me set up with an appointment that same week. From the people I spoke with on the phone, the care given the day of by the front desk staff, the vet techs, and the vet, the constant contact throughout her whole procedure, the extremely thorough explanation of all that was done, and the follow up the next day just to see how she was doing, I can confidently say this was the best veterinary experience I've had in 15 years. If your furry friend needs dental work, VDS is the only place you should go, period.

Excellent veterinary practice! This is the place to go if your pet needs advanced dental care. I was able to get an appointment in a very reasonable time frame and my cat was able to have the procedure the very same day as the consultation. The doctors and nurses communicated everything to me very clearly, and I could see how much they cared about my little Bernard. He's now doing great and is back to eating like a piggie. I'm so happy that I chose to have his dental procedure done here!

I'm so glad we chose here when we needed a vet dentist for our cat. Everyone was so kind and informative on her care and treatment.
They handled her surgery in the morning, and we had two follow-up visits to make sure she was recovering as expected.
I would highly recommend them! Well worth the travel from the NYC area to get the best treatment for our cat.

I had an excellent experience with VDS and Dr. Caniglia. As a veterinarian myself, I was impressed with this group's professionalism, communication, and top of the line level of care. I value the expertise and training within this niche, specialty hospital and this group of highly educated board certified clinicians (dentists and anesthesiologists) and knew that my pet would be in the best hands. The reception team was welcoming, accommodating, and provided clear instructions and expectations. The explanation of treatment options with Dr. Caniglia was thorough and specific to my pet's needs. The communication throughout the procedure outlining expectations and next steps was wonderful. It is evident that my pet received excellent care throughout. I highly recommend them for your pet's advanced dental needs.

We took our greyhound here a couple of weeks ago for dental work at the PA location. We absolutely loved the staff. My dog needed 10 teeth pulled and I'm so happy everything went well. Dr. Lewis even gave us a jump bc my battery died. You can tell they love their job.

I am soo happy i found this place for my lil guy milo. He had many issues with his mouth & his scheduled surgery at his normal vet was about 3 weeks from know. Dr.Hunt and the entire staff was so professional and soo kind & didnt waste any time getting milo back to surgery. The amount i paid was a bit extreme but yeah overall i would recommend this place to everyone that can afford it.

This place is amazing. I brought my dog in to have his teeth cleaned and extractions. He was seen as an appointment in the morning, and had the procedure the same day. He went home later in the afternoon/evening. Once you walk in, you notice the beautiful decor right away. You are greeted with a smile and feel welcomed instantly. Dr. Rice was punctual and very thorough. They have tablets in the room to help with my understanding of what needed to be done. They are very up to date on all technology and even have a CT scanner on site! I knew they would take great care of my Bogart and they definitely did. They made sure he was pain free the whole time and even have a boarded anesthesiologist to reduce the risk of his anesthesia. I know their prices are more expensive then your typical regular veterinary, but it is well worth it! I highly recommend them. They will take such great care of your family member (pet) and make you feel very comfortable overall. Amazing experience! I will definitely be going back!
