Swedes Run Fields & Dog Park

This field is a hidden gem. The dog park is always very clean and it’s nice that they have it separated based on the dogs size! Additionally, they have tons of walk ways around the park and it’s a decent distance! It’s usually really crowded on the weekends so I try to avoid it and go weekdays! Also a great location for photography, which I enjoy!

There are Yellow (1 mile) and Red (1.25 miles) Trails around the fields on both sides of Westfield Road. No difficulty. But some areas of the trails are a bit wet or muddy. So wear waterproof shoes if you hike after some rain.

You'll find a trail with Dr. Seuss's book The Lorax when you walk behind the historic Swede Run Barn, which may be inspiring for little kids

The Dog Park by the parking lot has separate Small Dog and Large Dog sections, sharing a pavilion. There's a drinking fountain for dogs and people at the entrance. Though my dog doesn't really like any dog park, it does look like a nice hangout place for other dogs and owners.

Great place to take your dog with lots of running around area. Dogs aren't crowded together like some dog parks. Two sides.. one for smaller dogs and one for the larger dogs. Take your dog for a (long) walk across the street on the trail to "burn off" any extra energy.

Honestly I love the place. Lots of open space, usually a fair number of dogs around, and a lot of nice people. Obviously our dog loves it too.

Great large space for small and little dogs. Grass ground, town provides bags and bins for dog poop. Perfect little park to bring your pet. Only thing I would ask for is more benches for people to sit on

Have been going here since the park opened years ago. Always is and will be my favorite dog park.

Absolutely adore this park!!! With the access to water has been a game changer for me! The size of the park alone is incredible! My dog has sooo much ground to roam that everything he sees is new every time! Also the cleanliness is impeccable! Every dog owner has definitely done their part in keeping the park clean! 10/10 recommend!!!

This is a dog park. I don't own a dog, so I just walked around. It has some nice trails.

Nice place to take your dog to tire them out. Dogs and owners are friendly.not alot of children around to mess with tour dog which is a plus.

Great park. Lots of space for your pup to run around. Has a separate park for dogs under 35 pounds. Has a water faucet and bowls along with a bunch of balls and other toys. Lot of great dogs and owners too. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to burn some of your dog's energy. Although most people seem to come for the dog park, there also are some nice trails to walk along. The small dog area is about 60 lbs limit I think, so if you have a very tiny dog there may be some dogs on the upper side of medium in the area. I would recommend it though! Your dog will definitely find some friends.

Fun, I go with my friend to get our dogs to stretch their legs and run around. The outer trails are fun as well, good place to take pictures if photography is your hobby.

What a great dog park for large or small breeds. Much larger than any one I've been to before. Plenty of places to sit under a pavillion, as well as agility equipment for the dogs. There are ample water fountains for both people and pets. I visited for the 1st time on a Sat. around noon and there were plenty of
" friends " for my mastiff to play with. The people there at the time were friendly while still being very tentative to their dogs. We had an awesome time and can't wait to go back there soon.

Great big park with separate section for small and large dogs. Some benches and a few trees allow for shade. Water available and a few short trails nearby. Everyone very friendly, dogs and ppl!

We just adopted our Zoe & it was her first time off leash. I wasn't sure how she would do, but she REALLY LOVED IT!!! Park was clean. People were so very nice. All the owners were very attentive. Zoe is a small dog, so I liked the fact that the big & small dogs are separate. We will be coming back. Great place!

This park is beautiful and clean. they have 2 side for small and large dogs which I love. the people there are very friendly. while there we walked the path with our dogs and got some great shots. it's a great dog park

Beautiful dog park. Two huge spaces for small (35 & under) as well as big (35 & up) dogs. My only complaint is that sometimes big dogs are in the small dogs area.

We love this park. Our pup can play in the park with the other dogs, or more frequently he joins us on a longer walk through the very pretty trail back to the brook. Absolutely beautiful sunsets here too!

Hands down the best dog park in the area. Property is well maintained and the people who go there are kind and respectful. Plenty of open fenced space for my dog to run around. And there is a water fountain at the entrance along with a well and hose.

Went there with my dog for a puppy play date in the morning and all the dogs and their peoples were very nice and sweet to my pup. My dog is on the border of which side to play on but he plays like a big dog so we put him with the bigger dogs. All the big dogs, at least while we were there, were very gentle and sweet!
