John is the absolute MAN! His talent is beyond measure! His Heart, Kindness, and hospitality was pure GOLD! You come in and feel like Family, because that's exactly the way he treats you. He even had a tablet with games for our daughter who we brought with us. Comfortable sitting area with cable TV while you are waiting. He most certainly gained a lifetime customer! God Bless!

Beyond impressed. I have a teenage son that I'm lucky if I can get excited about anything. Usually when getting his hair done he checks out and disconnects and when asked for his opinion is always "It's okay, I guess." JB was able to connect with him, actually listened to the cut my son wanted and delivered. JB was also conscious of when my son was getting tense. Upon leaving my son did not wait for me to ask, came to me and said, "The next time I get my hair done, it has to be here." The whole ride home was more about what he liked about JB that was different and better than other places.

Found myself in need of a new barber, as the rest of my fellow gentlemen know, it’s not always the easiest thing. Long story short after scrolling through a ton of local shops I came across Pats place and decided to take chance and couldn’t be happier I did. Literally one of the best cuts I’ve gotten in a long time not to mention the super chill laid back atmosphere and it was evident from the time I walked in JB really enjoys his craft and that his clients feeling welcomed and comfortable is priority one. Then I got in the chair and jb didn’t disappoint. Super clean, top notch attention to detail and made sure it was what I wanted throughout the the whole haircut and beard trim. Even told me if I went home and there was something I didn’t like,I could come back in the next day or two so he could fix it for no extra charge. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WILL DEFINITELY BE A CLIENT FROM HERE ON OUT

First time customers, didnt know what to expect walking in. My son and I had an awesome experience! Not only were the haircuts on point, my son had a blast playing video games. The owner was very friendly, easy to talk to, and knew exactly what we wanted. Very comfortable atmosphere! We will definitely be back!

I took my son to Jb to get his hair cut he squeezed us in which was great excellent customer service! He was great with my 5 y/o son made him completely comfortable Jb did an AMAZING job! Went and saw JB after a referral from a friend. The minute you walk in, you know you’re going to have an experience you’ve never had before, and I say that with excitement. JB loves hair unlike anybody I’ve met, providing both honesty and expertise to assist customers in helping their hair to regain full potential. I had a general idea what I wanted, and through my vague explanations, JB was able to give me the perfect cut. I highly recommend you give him a ring!

Out of all barbers ive been to in my life, jb is hands down the best barber around. He really takes his time and will always make sure your 100% satisfied with your cut as well as educating you on your hair type and how to best maintain it. JB is amazing!! My son has never had a professional hair cut and I could not be more impressed with the results I got from my visit to Pats!!!! Normally I cut my son's hair at home and it's a nightmare. JB made us feel super comfortable and at ease as you can see in the photo my son has his foot propped up!!! He has never been so still in his life it was like JB was the toddler whisperer!! The cut couldn't look better either we are so pleased with the time and care JB put into my son looking his best for the upcoming holiday and festivities. We will be coming back for all his future hair cuts here!

The Hair Doctor JB! I was randomly seeking barbers near me when I came across his page and gave him a call. He quickly answered and was very down to earth. He accepted me as a walk-in within minutes. Very knowledgeable on his craft and gives great hair care advice. Immediately upon meeting him I felt like I’ve known him for years. He makes the experience very home-like and he treats barbering as a true passion, carefully ensuring he satisfies your haircut needs and experience. Coming from someone who usually always gets a haircut from Camden, this dude is the real deal ! 10/10 recommend! 💪🏼 I’ll be going back.

I went in with an ugly head of hair, and came out with the freshest cut I’ve ever received. JB explained a lot about how to better maintain my hair, and gave me some valuable lessons. Just moved back to the area and needed a new barber. I decided to try based off the reviews on google. JB realigned my hair to fix my callick and gave me a phenomenal cut. JB knows his stuff when it comes to cutting hair. In the past when I’ve gotten my hair cut from other people, they simply weren’t able to give me the haircut I wanted even after describing it to them. JB on the other hand was able to understand and help improve upon my original idea for the haircut, while also explaining exactly why he thought certain looks would work better for me. Top quality haircut will definitely be a returning customer!

After a kitchen hair cut gone wrong, googling barber shops open on Sundays, crying on the phone to set up a last minute appointment, I took my son to this barber shop. JB assured me his hair could be fixed. My son's hair was saved and he loved his cool design JB added on the side. He was able to return to school Monday looking fresh. JB is a life saver!

JB is the best barber I've seen so far in Philly area. REALLY knows what he's doing, totally professional and super friendly. Cuts hair based on how YOU want it to look and includes everything in the cost of a haircut. Took his time and actually cares about the haircut. No additional charges for beard trim, shape up, wash, etc. Strongly recommend to anyone who wants a true cut. Will definitely continue to be back!

I’ve been looking for a new barber for a couple of years. J B’s experience, knowledge, passion, and attention to detail show me all I need to see. I’ve been to him twice now. He’s done an incredible job and I can easily say these are some of the best cuts I’ve had. A good barber that knows what they are doing is very hard to find. I can confidently say I’ll be a consistent customer.

Trim my beard up really good and shape up my son and let him play switch while getting cut. Gave us a lot of pointers and was able to get us in last minute. Very good dude and takes pride in his work. Highly recommend him.
