Great views of the creek and river, as well as the marina, and opportunities for tons of nature viewing. I saw more deer in one group together than I'd ever seen in my life. There must have been a dozen! There are no restrooms other than a portable one, FYI. I'll definitely be back!

A great park in Riverside NJ. The trails are all easy to walk and you have views of the marina and the Philly skyline. It is a great park to bring your dog as most of the trails are wide, giving you plenty of space.

Beautiful little spot, lots of scenic overlooks, fun marina and trails ranging from simple to somewhat challenging. Will visit again in warmer weather.

Very nice park . Has many view points giving a beautiful and magestic view of Delaware river .. we took all the three (blue, red and yellow) trail... There were access areas along the yellow trail and the kids really loved .. no swimming is allowed... The trails are mostly stones and tree roots so they were not stroller friendly...on the whole it's a nice walk around and it took us 1.5 hrs with kids ...

It’s worth a hike here. On your hike, you will see several outlooks by the riversides: you can see the confluences of the Delaware River and the Rancocas Creek, the skyline of Philadelphia, the views of harbors, as well as deer families, wild birds...Some area of the trail could be muddy, so better wear a pair of waterproof shoes to avoid getting feet wet.

It’s about a 2-mile trail around the island. They are marked at Red, Blue, Yellow or Black. But you won’t get lost anyways since it’s only an island. If you detour all the trails, you may make it a longer hike.

Though more of a peninsula, Amico Island is a Burlington County, NJ park terraformed from dredge material when the site was a sand and gravel mine (1930s-1960s). The island has a number of varied landscapes--a lush pond, deep swamps, stands of shimmering white birches, pebbly beaches onto the Delaware River and a network of (Blue, Red, Yellow) soft trails offering many views of the Dredge Harbor, Rancocas Creek, the Delaware and the East Torresdale section of Philadelphia. Topography generally rises as you head west. Amico is also the western terminus of the Rancocas Creek Greenway, a cycleway to Pennington Park and beyond. Parking and restroom available.

A splendid Burlington County park in Delran, N.J. Not actually an island, the park is surrounded by Rancocas Creek, Dredge Harbor, and the Delaware River, with a land bridge from the mainland. Scenic views of Philadelphia's skyline are available; multiple trails throughout the park exhibit plenty of flora and fauna. A great place for birdwatching, taking a nice hike, walking the dog, or going fishing.

This place is a hidden gem. Nice place overall but awesome for fishing. You have access to Rancocas Creek, a lake AND the Delaware River. In the lake caught some nice bass and plenty of Crappie

Beautiful park with enough trails to hike for an hour or more in the Delaware river. All flat and include some fields, woods, and river beach. Some trails are very wide and easy to walk with others that branch off and are narrow and more dense with trees and thickets. Great view of the Philadelphia skyline and another beautiful sport where the Rancocas and Delaware rivers meet.

Amazing place to spend quiet time enjoying the quiet calm spaces. The paths have different degrees of difficulty so all age groups can enjoy the lovely paths. The island had a large lake (not sure what you would

Amazingly beautiful park! My favorite place to be! There are trails to walk that run along the rancocas Creek and the Delaware river, a lovely view of the city across the Delaware and so many deer and other animals to see! Area for picnics, bathroom, doggy waste station and a bike rack all right near the entrance. Trails are very well maintained. Great place to walk your pups!

Great place to walk around by yourself, with a friend, or with your dog! I bring my dog here and always see other dogs there, too. I usually see multiple deer and birds like herons. The trails are nice, and it's especially beautiful in warmer weather when the greenery is in bloom.

Great river views. We went in the winter on a cold windy day so it might be the reason why there were only a few other people there.
Trails are well marked and maintained. Trails vary from hard dirt to grassy.
There is an array of tables and benches to utilize.
Total trail mileage is around 1.5-2 miles.

This little park will forever hold a special place in the deepest reaches of my island-loving heart. From the decrepit barges and their silent, rotting testimony to the past to the ever changing shoreline and the bounty of new and old things rolling through with the tide to it's beckoning, island shoreline . There is significantly less tidal garbage lining the shores than other fantastic places nearby, and I imagine this place made for an ideal campsite for millennia and still would today.

Love this simple loop park walk. The Rancocas river and the Delaware meet here. Lots of wildlife, and cool topography.
