My usual barber from another shop was on vacation and I came across Broken Anchor's instagram. I booked an appointment with Joe for a skin fade. My hair isn't the easiet to cut, but Joe did an outstanding job. He was highly professional and took his time, which speaks to his attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Great space and atmosphere…the staff and overall experience is the perfect combination of professional yet relaxed. But - all that is secondary to the amazing haircut I get time after time from Emily. Broken Anchor is the complete package.

This place is amazing. It is everything you need and want from a barbershop, great cuts, good people, and fun conversations. Emily and Joe are straight up artist with clippers and scissors. My 3 sons, ages 6, 11, and 12, and I all get our cuts here and won’t go anywhere else.

I Highly Recommend Barbershop 💈! First, the atmosphere is very chill. The shop itself is on Merchant Street In Audubon, so it is in Prime location and very convenient. The decor is awesome. I really like that they run appointment only. For me, I am a business owner and travel heavily. I don’t have a lot of time... especially for a haircut. So, appointments and being on time are very important to me. My Barber is Joe, the guy is nice, funny and very good at what he does. Now I mean no offense or any disrespect but White People Are not traditionally good at Fading hair. I usually go to a Black Barbershop or a Hispanic one because they are very skilled with Fading, Blending etc... But Joe did awesome. And from what I understand all of the Barbers there can Fade very well.
Honestly, this place is awesome and worth taking the trip too.

I'm hesitant to recommend Ariel because it already takes a week to get an appointment with her but she's an absolute rock star.

My two boys and husband have been getting their cuts by Talia since they have opened. Not once have they been disappointed. There is always a welcoming smile when we walk in by Ariel and Joe. Their cleanliness puts us at ease when we go in and we always leave satisfied after a friendly conversation. I highly recommend the entire staff.

Will never let anyone else touch my hair ever again. Show Ariel what i want and ask for her honest input on how she believes it will look on me and have yet to ever be disappointed by any haircut she does for me. This place is great. It was my first time checking them out as I usually go for the cheaper haircuts at great clips or Hair Cuttery. Since I've been wanting to try a different place I decided to stop in here. Though they're about $10 more than the places I just mentioned it is more than worth the price. I do not exaggerate when I say that this is the best haircut I've received in my adult life. Joe did a great job. Really took his time getting everything right. My hair leaps and bounds better than anything I had ever gotten before. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new/ different barber.

My son is a trans youth and, most days, pretty uncomfortable around others and with his appearance. Seeing the smile on his face after his haircut with Ariel today made my whole week. Not only did she give him a great cut, but the shop is always so welcoming. Thank you so much!

As soon as you walk in, you will notice that attention to detail is a main focus of this barber shop. Attention that manifest itself in the thoughtful design of the space, to how immaculate it is kept, and to the carefully sourced products they seek out and share with their customers. In speaking with the barbers, I have learned that they continually seek out professional development to improve their skill set and update their equipment to consistently give the best haircuts. There is no comparison in the South Jersey area- Ariel and her highly skilled team of hair stylists are a group cut of their own cloth. Took my son for a haircut for the first time at Brigandi’s. It was hands down the best cut my 6 year old has ever got!!!!! The barbers name was Brandon he took his time and gave my son an awesome cut!!!! Would definitely recommend!!
