Soupy Island

What a great place for kids! You can totally spend the whole morning there. Staff is super friendly and we enjoyed the free milk, snacks and soup! The shallow pool is clean and had 4 lifeguards keeping an eye out. There was so much space and it wasn’t overcrowded at all!

Soupy island...so many times traveling up across the Delaware...most important river tale I have personalize..Something every child can remember..once upon a time...Ferry boat rides...life is really full of adventures...think about over sixty five years ago...Philadelphia my hometown..

I use to come here back in the 80's with the daycare I use to work with loved it. I took my grandchildren here in July 2023 and they loved it. I wanted to share the history of a group of doctors established thus place for children. I will be back with them. Yes please donate if you wish to help keep open. "It's free to the public. Cutest little spot. We were told the last swim of the day is the least busy. My daughters loved the pool. It was very clean. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned.

It's a good Christian place with good Christian people that run it. I've been the with my kids a few times and I'd really nice and peaceful. The pool and antique merry go round are pretty cool as well. Update, prices have gone up a little but that seems to be everywhere lately with the pandemic and all but still a good place that's run by good Christian people.

The hours posted on social media would lead you to believe that they're open during the spring but actually opens after the 4th of July. This place has history and is a good place for younger kids. I remember going here on trips when I was in National Park school. The park is free but you should donate when you go so we can keep this place open for future generations.

My family has been having yearly gatherings here every Summer. The kids have fun in the kiddie pool and bigger ones and adults spend time in deeper pool. They also have a carousel and a huge slide they go down sitting on wax paper. We always have a great time. There's several large gazebo areas too so you will have plenty of shade if needed.

Absolutely love this place and the people who run it. I would give more then 5 stars if I could. Best place ever to take your kids and let them be kids! Even the rain didnt stop us from having fun. Love love love soupy island! Oh and thank you soupy island for yet another great experience!

You can rent the park out for your next barbeque with a family reunion, or office picnic! Large grounds, with shady areas to enjoy large pool and merry go round dated from the 1800's . Neat place

I love the nostalgic life theme, and the best necessary equipment to have fun with my child. I love the baby pool it was enjoyable, ran by a great group of staff
The packaged lunch is healthy, fresh, and tasty (surprisingly!)

Awesome place to visit and the kids loved it. It costs barely anything ( they serve free soup and breakfast and no admission fees ). I know the do take donations which I do recommend, they are in need. It was a very fun time.

Been coming here since I was a kid, and now I get to share it with mine! Cool, old, historic carousel, metal slides that you can go down with wax paper, real seesaws, there isn't anything like this around anymore.

Very good place for a family outing.

Soupy Island has so much history and full of fun. I can't wait to bring my grandchildren to share this AWSOME historic place!
