It was really good. I love this place. Yum yum get you sum it's a sad weekend for the diner they will be closing their doors for good tomorrow 10/22/23

The food was great... You get a good portion of food for your money...

Food is always delish, and server is right there to get me another mich ultra :) The diner is clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive to their tables. Taco salad was so good!!

This diner is absolutely incredible! THEE BEST French onion soup. Boiling hot. Tons of cheese. The best fries, the crunchy ones with that coating on em, hot hot coffee. Fast service. I got a French onion soup and she waited until I was done to bring my food, like she should!!! I am ELATED WITH THIS PLACE. ☆☆☆☆☆ Five stars. Just unreal how great this little gem is 😁

Great food and attention, the only thing I would recommend more is to keep it more clean and with a better smell, because when I went two days ago the floor smelled really bad.

Great place, great food, great friendly people. Prices are fair and reasonable. Could use a little updating soon, but that's just cause it's been there forever and that's a testament to it being great!

Went there yesterday and it was great food. I had French onion soup and curly fries. Plus I had cheese cake with chocolate mousse on top it was so delishish. My friend had chipped beef and homefries and that was delicious too. The staff are great and very polite. If your in that area go in and have some great food. Portions were pretty good sized too. Will be going back if we are in the area.

Stopped in here for breakfast and totally enjoyed it. Sitting out on the deck and watching the boats go by was quite serene. The food was all good. Make sure you grab a bloody Mary or mimosa at the ale House across the street on your way in since they do not sell alcohol here.

This was my grandfathers favorite diner in Jersey until his passing in 1999. Went there today after not being back since the mid 90s and absolutely nothing has changed. Still one of the best diners in all of Jersey. The chicken parm is exactly as I remembered it, even almost 30 years later. A lot of things change in life and restaurants come and go, but seeing Gateway on the corner still making great food made my day.

Not your average Diner. Family atmosphere ! Great staff...Kayla and Stephanie are pleasant and phenomenal servers. Great portions at economical prices. Family owned and town favorite.

We had a very good dinner. Chicken parm and veal parm. Platters were so nice and hot. Dinner rolls were so fresh. Our salads were quite large and nice and very green lettuce! We were too full for dessert and took home enough food for lunch the next day. Prices were very reasonable. Give it a try and see what you think.

Could use sprucing up! But understand in these uncertain times. Great food, prices good and certainly get a full plate. The chicken potpie is phenomenal. Definitely worth the trip

$$$ My Favorite place by far for a great breakfast for a great price. Everyone is so friendly even the customers. Voted South Jersey's Best Breakfast many times. You get alot of food. Definitely get your bang for you're buck. Try it you won't be disappointed..

The Gateway Wrap is the most delicious wrap ever ! Spinach, mozzarella, garlic and chicken. Kayla was our waitress and she was friendly and kind, she said the Gateway wrap is their signature wrap. Don’t miss it. Anne B. West Deptford, NJ

What a great breakfast.
Stumbled upon this quaint diner. After missing a turn off the interstate.
Enjoyed fluffy flavorful pancakes while my wife enjoyed the largest western omelet I've seen in some time. It was overcooked, or dry. Served with perfectly cooked potatoes. Crispy bacon.
I'll make that wrong turn a few more times!
