Plato's Closet - Deptford, NJ

I love this store .
Staff are nice and dress authenticly as they want. I love seeing the different styles they wear . Prices are such a great deal . It's always so organized and clean . Also it's close by to my home town . I'd rather go there 1st before I decide to shop at the Mall .

I have nothing but great things to say about Plato’s Deptford. I have been going here for over 10 years to sell my clothing and I always make out great! Don’t let the negative reviews deter you… it’s quite simple. They do not want your 7 year old dingy clothing! They want past season things that people will rebuy! No matter if there is a tag or not. Style is constantly changing-so yeah you might have a pair of jeans with tags but do they fit todays trend? Be smart and you will be rewarded. Take care of your clothing and they will want it. Also, just because you paid $50 2 years ago doesn’t mean that piece of clothing holds that value! When you purchase anything the worth of it drops 40-50% immediately so to think you will get what you paid years ago… sounds like a you problem.

Selling is time consuming but the staff hustle to get through it all. The day I went, staff ended up posting a sign saying they would not be buying for the remainder of the day. May have been slightly irritated if I had come to sell but atleast they are giving realistic info. There are small areas of unorganization but mostly everything is on point; colors, items, sizes all separated nicely.

Man that Place is awesome better for chicks but great stuff for dudes too. I got a NFL eagles hoodie brand new 10 bucks on sale .Great sneakers if you get your size whoever dreamed up that store is a Genius. You bring your clothes in no junk they appraise them if there good you get money or voucher all upscale goods plus for guys theres 10 to 1 ratio on hot woman all day I want to work there for real cool stote

Good store for used clothing and accessories including boots. Prices are next to nothing for designer apparel and it's in great condition. Well worth checking out, you might be surprised, I was. Huge store to go through.Very organized for a store selling second hand clothing, some items still have the original price tag!!

This is an amazing store...For women and men as well. All varieties of brand name clothing and accessories. You can find anything you're looking for at a price for anyone's budget. Buy, sell, or trade items for store credit. Gently used, almost New merchandise. If you're willing to spend the time looking for certain items, or don't know what you are looking for...You might be surprised by what you find just browsing around. Also, every 6 months be sure to catch the super sales. Usually after Christmas and the end of summer, they offer even more sales then on the regular. Neat little affordable store with all shapes, sizes, colors, and products to hunt through.

Y'all need to relax.. OF COURSE they're going to sell your items for more than they'll offer you. How else would they make money!?! I worked at another location years ago, when they first opened, and I'll tell you how it works. There is a computer system that prices your items for about a third of retail price, then you receive about 1/3 of that price! They're not ripping you off... it's nice they offer you anything so quickly for your used clothing. Ugh, some people are so snobby. So anyways... I love Platos and think it's an awesome concept for those who can't afford retail price like myself. I highly recommend going there to buy or sell!!

I recently visited another Platos location, absolutely atrocious inside, and I would like to praise the Deptford store. Deptford Platos keeps their store well-organized and keeps the aisles fairly spaced to walk through. The prices of clothes are unbeatable, especially for name brand items. This is forever a Platos that I will visit. Great Work, amazing experiences.

Thank you! I'm so grateful for this store. I was able to purchase at least 12 more items then if I had buying brand new. Only negative it's the appearance of the floor. Desperately needs to be vacuumed.

This is a great place to go to get second hand items. Sometimes new with tags. My shopping experiences have been hit or miss, but mostly hits! :) If you're in the mood to "hunt" around, you're bound to find some hidden treasures! :)

Wow great place to buy and sell used items. Employees are great and the items for sale as neatly arranged and not all 'squeezed in'. Go you will enjoy the store and you might even leave the store with a (new to you) treasured item. It is worth the look around.

Very friendly associates! Clean store! Nice and neat and felt very welcomed! All of the delaware location is so pathetic and sad so I have to take the hour drive to get here and its definitely worth it! You guys keep up the great work!

I love this place. They have great used clothes for great prices. It's like a very selective thrift store, where you'll pay a bit more but will get the quality you desire.

I think this is the best platos closet in NJ. I've been to a few of them, and none of them have a selection like this one! It's much bigger than all the other ones ive been too. I always feel like I waste my time going to other ones when I can just come here. Learned my lesson. Great styles, great prices, large selection- can't beat it. Thanks platos closet deptford.

Also I sold my clothes here, they were defiantly extremely picky, however for reasons UNDERSTOOD. They try to keep there store in trend and they're clothes in great condition. So any money is better than no money! Just a helpful tip, if you sell your clothes, I suggest bringing lightly worn and in trend clothing so they will buy. Usually hammy downs don't work, retro won't work, extremely worn clothes won't work, etc! But defiantly try!

One of my favorite Platos. I live in MD but take the trip to this location as I'm always satisfied with the sneaker collection. Awesome location best Platos I frequent

I usually can find some pretty neat finds here depending on the season. A good price for slightly used clothes! But selling clothing back I've heard from some of friends is a pain.

The Rachels at this location are super friendly and they are polite in explaining why an item may not be accepted. I come here first when looking to move our overstock or clearanced items.
