League Island Park

One of our favorite strolling and dog-walking spots at the Navy Yard. The central green is bordered by native plants. In summer 2022, Group X installed a new outdoor permanent sculpture called Alpha Sacred Beings. It's a life-size, beaded Parasaurolophus, created in an artistic partnershp with the Lenni-Lenape Tribal nation. The dinosaur's hips are circled in a wampum belt. Beautifully detailed.

It is a nice quiet place. People mind their own and there is plenty of space to let the kids and or dogs to run around. Fishing is good. Catfish, stripers, whites, carp and perch. Kids love the planes overhead and all sorts of boats that travel though.

An excellent place to take the family for a fishing day. A beautiful atmosphere, pet friendly, very peaceful, the people are very friendly and you're almost always guaranteed to catch a fish. The only downside to it is that there are no public restrooms.

This is a great getaway/hideaway within the city of Philadelphia. It's an ideal space for walking your beloved pet or for some self-reflection. I recommend you visit this space once for sure, you'll see what I mean. Nearby is Central Green Park, another one the numerous family and just all around friendly spaces The Navy Yard has to offer.

This is an awesome fishing spot also nice place to jog, take a walk or just sit and reflect on life as you look out into the water as the barges and tug boats go by and the planes fly above your head landing at the Philadelphia International Airport. Lots of photo ops gear also

Very nice place for fishing and a nice running jogging and biking track. Very clean and quite. With the Navy police having a presence it's very safe.

Thin strip of grass at the rivers edge. Nice place to relax for a few minutes or take a walk.
