The Riverfront Greenway

Should walk this riverfront in spring. We loved it. Marinas and an industrial backdrop, a bay like view where the river turns. A little history and very pleasant.

Nice place for a stroll to watch the vessels with a small historical area nearby.

Biked here from south philly, only a short ride away and a scenic boardwalk for walking, riding, anything else you might do on a boardwalk. There were many families, friends, social groups out at the same time as me but we all had enough space. Will be back!

The Riverfront Greenway in Philadelphia is a transformative project that revitalizes the city’s waterfront with a continuous 11-mile stretch of parks and trails. It extends from Port Richmond to Torresdale, offering residents and visitors a scenic and recreational space. The Greenway includes various amenities like fishing spots, picnic areas, and trails for walking and biking, enhancing the urban landscape and providing a green corridor for both people and wildlife.

It was a pleasant walk. Quiet, that at times we could hear the river lapping against the breaks. The airport is a short distance away. Therefore planes were landing about every 10 mins.

I work in the area. Very very hidden jewel in Philadelphia. I recommend you come here. Take your family here. Kiss your spouse, grab your kids, bring a fishing pole and come down here to prosper in the summer time in the cool of a shady tree with a glass of lemonade that you brought in a cooler and cook some of the fish you caught.

Great outdoor space.....perfect path for running, cycling, walking, taking a stroll with a loved one. The view is awesome!

Awesome location for a quick jog, walk or bike ride along the river. Observed visitors enjoying picnics, enjoying their lunch, and fishing. Wide sidewalks, and beautiful views.

This is a very nice place it's never that crowded and always nice to just take your time and enjoy what's around you. I stopped there at least once a month or so. The people are always friendly that you meet. And it is also service dog friendly
