ShopRite of Gibbstown

This was my first time using delivery from this particular location, and it was an absolute breath of fresh air to see that some people still take pride in their job. I'm so glad I switched locations because your team is amazing. Prices were correct. I didn't have $10-12 of extra charges, or things missing. All my items were correct, and the shopper kept in contact with me until it arrived at my door. Excellent service. I did try to call your store to praise the online order staff, but it's Saturday morning so I know they were busy. Thank you again.

AMAZINGLY AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! the staff here are very pleasant& helpful, couldn't ask for a better customer service experience! The Manager, Karen, was especially kind & helpful. Besides the wonderful employees, they've got a great selection of fresh produce & fresh meats and always have good sales. It's clean, well stocked & have amazing deals on seasonal items. I'm always pleasantly surprised at some of the non-grocery items they have & the prices of such items, esp at the season's end. Even the fellow shoppers are very pleasant and helpful - that area really has the most pleasant, thoughtful & helpful people! You will definitely leave here with a good shopping experience!

I typically will only buy my meat at Shoprite, cheapest, fresh, and always a good deal. It's rare I can't find what I'm looking for. The employees at the customer service desk are always so nice and helpful. Jennifer is my favorite behind the desk! Anna, the cashier, is my absolute favorite employee there (and my boyfriend works there, too, lol). She's always so friendly and helpful! My sister and I fight over who likes her more. (I do!) Kristen is also a favorite cashier when I'm lucky enough to have her, she's usually a morning cashier and I usually shop afternoon/evening. I hope these employees will be going to the new Woolwich location.

Great, clean well stocked store. Employees in every department are super friendly and always willing to assist you. Great sale prices too. I only food shop at Shoprite and hardly ever use a competitor like Acme.. You have a very satisfied customer here. Cashier Damaris is very friendly.

You can tell that it’s an older building but they keep it up nicely! The prices are fantastic, employees are always happy and ready to help. The cashiers are friendly and try to engage in conversation most of the time! Meats are the best prices around!! We drive 20 min just to shop here, which I realize that isn’t far, but in Va I drove 3 min down the road and was at my grocery store! It’s well worth the drive for the amazing prices. There have been times that I’ve saved 1/3 of my total while shopping! Absolutely love when that happens!!

Great place to do you weekly shopping. Their prices are the best for atleast 50 miles. We always walk out with atleast 2 weeks worth of meals and I mean breakfast, lunch and dinners for a teenage family of 4 for less then $200 every two weeks. Most of the times better if you hit a great meat sale. We go out of our way to shop there. Even with the extra fuel cost and time its still the place togo. Give them a try, they will not disappoint.

This store is a smaller Shop Rite. Although the store is smaller they carry a wide variety of goods and a very good bakery and deli.. If your looking for a few items or shopping for a large order this store is able to handle the task. I find the store employees to be helpful too.

Amy (Manager) gave above and beyond service. When a sale item was not available on the shelf she stopped what she was doing and ran to the back to check on stock. When none were available she substituted another brand without question. All with a great attitude and smile. Terrific example of customer service!

Not as large as some ShopRites I've been to. Family owned. Everything does look fresh. I like that this particular ShopRite has a bucket as you are leaving the store that you can drop off pet food donations for animals less fortunate than our own family pets. This makes me choose this ShopRite above others.

Clean store. Well stocked. Nice, helpful workers. Pleasant people at check out. Only issue...no family size Lipton tea bags.

Went there monday to get food for the next two weeks. People were great, customers and employees. Just a good overall atmosphere at this store. Had almost everything I needed. Will shop here again when I'm in the neighborhood.

Love it. Not over crowded and easy to get in and out. They always have adequate cashiers to keep things moving.

A nice clean simple ShopRite. I'm not bombarded with sales for or smells of rotting food like I have experienced at other ShopRites. Very bright inside the store and clean and welcoming.

This is one of the best ShopRite locations that I have been to. there is a wide variety of items. the place manages to look old fashioned without looking outdated. this location was bigger than the other ShopRite locations nearby. I highly recommend this place.

This is a great shop rite, I never have a long wait in line, the shelves are always clean and stocked, deli is always quick and friendly, they often have great sales and it's very conveniently located off of 295 in a shopping center with a decent mix of stores.

This is my most favorite ShopRite in the entire area. I work around the block and there are times when I'm not working where I will leave my home in Woodbury where I'm surrounded by shoprite's in town and just a few minutes away and I will go specifically back to the Gibbstown location. They're vestibule when you first walk in is always loaded with amazing sales and clearance prices in a variety of products not just food. The seafood section I talk it up all the time to everyone I meet even strangers in public LOL! The lump Maryland crab cakes are amazing there is literally no filler and for $9 I always buy two at a time several times a week. I am in love with the salmon and crab meat pinwheels and just this week they were literally offering whole lobsters and the biggest crab legs I have ever seen! Their Deli counter is always loaded and stocked with amazing selection of lunch meats and the pastry Bakery section I never have a complaint with. The store is amazingly clean considering the amount of traffic that's in there in the middle of the day and I have rarely ever seen an area that has been unstocked longer than a day. They have self-checkout with four lanes and anytime I've had to wait in line it's been less than 5 minutes in addition to the self-checkout there is obviously cashiers there and I would say on a weekday at any given time they have at least four or five registers open in addition to the self-checkout. The parking lot is well-maintained there is always carts ready for you at the front door or they're not litter throughout the whole parking lot. If they do end up scattered as they Naturally Wood in the parking lot there is always employees out there collecting them in a reasonable rate. I also find that it's helpful when I go into the entrance that put you right at the pastry and Deli area that they have their own two lanes of check out so I don't have to go all the way to the front of the store.

Love this store. I go out of my way to come here. The people are nice, the prices are great, and they always have what I need!

Love this location! Not happy they will be closing to open a new location farther away... It serves as major grocery store to four communities- Gibbstown, Paulsboro, East Greenwich, and Bridgeport. If they close, will have to drive a distance because our communities will be left with no grocery store! We are all hoping they change their mind!

I will go to no other Shoprite especially when it comes to produce. Everything is green and fresh not wilted and rubbery like the other stores. I have a pet rabbit 🐰🐇and this Shoprite is the only one with A + greens!!! Thanks 😊
