Amavi Salon

I chose to patronize this salon because of a referral. Facts to consider I'm highly critical because I'm in the beauty industry as well. I don't have much luck finding a professional that cares about haircare with a pleasant salon environment & aesthetic that I like. I'm also new to New Jersey. And lets just say Ngozi exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sitting in her salon all day and additional bonus. I loved my end results, I'm still enjoying my hairstyle a week out and will be returning in the near future.

This woman spent 8 hours on my hair. It was 3pm-11pm. I came in with black and blue hair with a lot of it faded out and having a weird blonde showing through instead. She spent 8 hours to be as thorough as possible and it came out different from the picture I showed but it’s still pretty. They were very polite and hospitable. Both women who worked on my hair held a great conversation the entire time as well

The shop and the people who work there are professional, courteous and very skilled. I travel over 30 minutes to get to the shop. The travel is definitely worth it and I HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone who is interested in getting there hair done. I was taking medicine that was making my hair fall out. After being treated with Amavi Salon organic products loosing hair is no longer my story. Thank you Amavi Salon!

Love this Salon!! I have been going here for several years and never have been disappointed!! From wearing my hair natural , braids, coloring or weaves I always leave feeling brand new. Their first priority is making sure I maintain a healthy head of hair since I constantly change styles. Thank you Ngozi and Crystal for keeping it real🦋

I started coming here in 2001. I love the fact that the salon does not have children running around and is a completely adult relaxed environment. It's not the usual messy gossip environment that salons normally are categorized as. My stylist Ngozi never disappoints and always has a new style in mind when I arrive. I always leave with a great style and most importantly healthy hair.

The staff is excellent. Very warm and inviting. Making you feel like your having a day with family. They are very attentive to what you are looking for but also give excellent suggestion based on your hair needs. Beautifully expertise coloring and cuts. I won't go anywhere else.

I love this salon Ngozi and Crystal are the best, I always leave with the perfect cut and color. They are always super nice and professional. I'm so happy I found a place where they listen to what I want!
