Had to share the incredible work @Effizzi African Hair Braiding Shop❤, stylist Mercí✨ totally gave my mother a complete transformation✨ in a word WOW!!! I stopped in a few weeks ago (mother-daughter duo) to get my hair done and my mother was very impressed with the style that she too had to visit @Effizzi African Hair Braiding Shop✨ and get her hair done! Amazing! Excellent job. Got my braids done in 4hrs (time record for me, usually I have to be sitting for 6-8 hrs to get my braids done and even shorter length) the attention to detail was something else. Also, usually my braids last from 2 and on the 3rd they start falling apart, it's been 3 weeks so far and they are still strong.

I recently had an amazing experience at Effizzi African Hair Braiding Salon. Chichi, the hairstylist, did an incredible job of transforming my hair. She blessed my crown with medium size, waist length, knotless braids. I also opted to have my sides and back shaved for a more edgy look.

One thing that really impressed me was the speed of the service. I arrived at 9 am and was out of the chair by 12:30 pm. It was refreshing to receive such efficient service without compromising on quality. Chichi's expertise and attention to detail were evident in the final result.

Not only was the salon clean and well-maintained, but the atmosphere was also friendly and fun. The staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed throughout the entire process. It's always a pleasure to visit a salon where the environment is enjoyable.

I went to this place for first time and provided a picture and they did exact! My braider, Jatum (spelling may be incorrect), did such a neat job on my hair and she was so pleasant. She was excellent!!! I have received so many compliments from women and men of diverse cultures of how good my hair looks. I was referred to Effizzi African Hair Braiding by a colleague and I am delighted with the results! I've been coming here for 6 months now. My braider, Valerie, is incredibly talented and knows exactly how to bring out the best in my hair. She always listens attentively to my requests, and skillfully executes the style. The salon has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and I always feel comfortable. The owner is always kind from the moment you walk in. As a Nigerian, I love being surrounded by these hardworking, warm, and welcoming Cameroonian women. I have been to Effizzi’s African Hair Braiding Shop twice so far. Going by my experience with the two ladies who braided my hair each time, I would not blink in saying that this is the place to go braid your hair. They listened, handled my hair with care and braided it so beautifully. I had never felt satisfied with braids I got anywhere until Effizzi’s. I was so pleased - not only with how well they handled my hair but the mutual respect with which the braiders and I related throughout the process. Too bad I don’t remember the name of the young woman who was the first to braid my hair (she was beyond great), but Chichi was the one who braided it the second time. Not only is Chichi skilled at this craft, she’s well educated, very informed, and that brings to bear on the professionalism with which she handles clients. I noticed similar qualities across the workroom the first time I went there. Without a doubt, however, the thing that I love about my Effizzi experience
is how caring, mutually respectful, and skilled the braiders are - regardless of their backgrounds. I will go back to braid at Effizzi’s any day.

I have been a client of Lamercies since I was 13 years old she is LITERALLY FAMILY and this is not a bias at all! She does great hair always has! Once you become a client there are so many perks, she will bend over backwards to make sure you get your hair styled whenever you need.

I’ve been coming here for a while now. I went in recently and asked for medium knotless, but when finished I was not satisfied as they looked large and not what I asked for. I did express my dislike, but didn’t make a big deal as the young lady spent 4 hours on my hair. It looked nice, just not what I wanted. Ladies, you know the feeling! The owner called me and expressed genuine concern over my dislike of my hair. She offered me several options and we settled with I would come back and get them done again, by a different stylist. I obliged. I came back about 4 weeks later and got them done again and I was BEYOND satisfied with my hair!!! I believe the owner goes by “Chi-Chi”(I could be wrong) but either way, she knows how to run a business. She went above and beyond to make sure that I left happy and satisfied with my hair. This is a great business and I would definitely recommend!!!!! They’ve got a loyal client in me.

Got my hair braided for the second time in my life. The first time was 2 yr ago and although the end result was nice it was a dreadful experience I’ll spare everyone the details. After being referred to this shop I instinctively decided this time to do some extra homework and read the reviews. I was torn after reading a few because the results were so mixed. It was either 1 star or all 5 stars. I’m not gonna front this worried me however after reading the bad ones I came to the conclusion that some of them didn’t make sense like how is someone gonna be so unhappy but still tipped and came back. I crossed my fingers and decided to still go ahead and keep my appointment and it was absolutely the best decision I made. The Owner is an absolute sweetheart heart and very professional. The shop despite being packed with clients was calm, with soft chatter and very clean. My stylist was absolutely amazing she was very friendly, easy to talk to and extremely fast. I got medium size box braids a little longer than mid-back. My appointment was for 9am Priye started at approximately 9:30 because I was late and bought the wrong hair off Amazon so she had to hook me up with what they had in the shop. It was not used it was fresh out the pack and was actually much better. It only 3 1/2 hours. My braids are nice, neat and tight. I didn’t feel any heavy handedness whatsoever. Im so glad I didn’t feed into the negative reviews. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. I have finally found my spot to get my braids done Y’all. Thank you Chi-Chi (I hope I spelled your name right) and once again Thank you Priye! I will most definitely be telling any and everyone how great this shop is.
PS. I just wanted to add that there were at least 8 or 9 clients getting their hair done and every last one of them were satisfied and pretty much done at the same time as me. I am so happy 😘😘

I'm sharing my experience with Effizzi African Hair Braiding. They are more than talented. They are magic! Everyone was warm and friendly, they made me feel like family. Mimi gave me exactly what I requested and at one point two other sisters joined in to help. I only wish that I knew their names, but you know who you are. Big ups to you too. Anyway, their prices are more than reasonable. And yes, I will be seeing them again. Thank you.

This was my first time here. It was busy but not crowded or uncomfortable. They were quick, friendly and professional. I got just straight individuals because it was my first time, but I saw a number of girls with knotless, bohemian, goddess twist, etc and I feel confident asking for any style now. They accept cash, CashApp and zelle which is wonderful. I will definitely be back.
