Martino Cartier Salon

This was the best choice to go to for my wig since my hair was falling out from chemo. They were so kind, caring. I would recommend them to anyone!

I have never walked into a salon and was greeted like I was family . Martino Cartier salon treats you like family from the time you step in the door to the time you check out. I have very difficult hair, not a pretty curly type of hair and always wanted my hair to be straight and not just for 2 min depending on the weather. The moment I sat in Gianna Cartier chair, she explained both treatments and products all the way down to, what would be a great styling brush. I have heard about a keratin treatment but never really thought it would work for me. I was incredibly wrong!!!! I love my keratin treatment , my color is on point and they are not a product pushing salon, if you ask, they will suggest the perfect products that works for your type of hair. They truly take the guess work out of it so you’re not spending a ton of money, trying a product and tossing it out. We’ve all done that. If you don’t make an appointment with them, your missing the opportunity to have the healthiest hair ever and feeling good about yourself!

Absolutely the best salon experience. Martino is beyond talented and I walk out feeling incredible. I travel all the way from NYC just to see him. Also, the women and children that he helps through Wigs and Wishes are so grateful and truly has such an impact.

I went on a Saturday morning and boy were they busy! However, despite full stations, it didn’t feel like that. Each station operated so smoothly and efficiently. Never rushed. Very thorough, attentive, and comfortable!!

I am a people watcher. I feel like a lot of people are but don’t admit it. Every employee was happy and filled with love and passion for what they do. I watched each hair dresser. Each taking their time making a connection with their client and making sure their client knew they were special. Even the owner, Martino!! I was impressed. He spent so much time with each client. Before he even started a clients treatment he spent time listening and absorbing every word spoken to him. The genuine love and passion he shows makes you believe in the good of this world again.

This salon isn’t just about hair cuts. This salon is the full treatment: physical, emotional, spiritual. I was in awe with amazement.

Martino has cut/colored my hair my whole life. He’s professional and the best there is and the salons stunning and I can’t wait to see his new salon! All his assistants are highly trained and very nice. Highly recommend as I refuse to go any where else !

Martino himself is a selfless person. He gives of his time and his experience. I think it is wonderful what he does for cancer patients. He thinks of others before himself and for that everyone else is blessed, a truly terrific place to visit. I truly hope I get a chance to visit after treatments. Mary Kate is one of the best stylist I have ever met! She knows her color, gives a good cut AND is really nice and professional. The salon has up-cycled designer merch which is an extra bonus!

Martino knows hair and is a true miracle worker. My highlights are the best I’ve ever had and my hair stays in healthy condition. This is important because a stylist can easily fry your hair if they don’t know what they’re doing. I’ve had other stylists at the salon fill in for Martino when he was away and they are just as good. My hair has never looked better. The salon is clean and beautifully decorated. I love to support a business that gives back to the community. Besides all the local community gifts he gives, Martino provides wigs to cancer patients FREE of charge and grants wishes for terminally ill kids. His actions speaks volumes ❤

Liann really knows her her stuff! When I came to her my hair wasn’t it’s best self. She was able to repair and blend my hair affordably. The salon has a fun busy energy and I am so happy I am now a regular client.

I cannot say enough about Martino and his salon. He takes time to know every client, their needs and genuinely cares about each one. He is larger than life and yet makes you feel like you’re the only one there. His staff, his family, his give back- sets his apart. People travel from all over the world just to have his salon’s experience- I can’t blame them. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. If medical treatment isn't challenging enough, the hair loss is something you know is inevitable, in the back of your mind, you think am I ever going to look the same again? I was referred to the Martino Cartier Salon in Washington Township New Jersey by Cooper Medical Center. From the initial call to the salon to the completion of the appointment I was in AWE! Upon arrival at the salon, I was met with such graciousness. Martino's confidence in his profession is contagious! He immediately removes any apprehension you may have had about wearing a wig. You walk out of his salon feeling like a million dollars! Love Martino! He’s been a south jersey staple for as long as I can remember from his little shop in Pitman, NJ to his place in Sewell. I have not had my hair cut professionally many times in my 37 yrs because of fear of a bad cut but Martino took care of me the first two times and he did exactly what I asked for. Not only is he an amazing stylist but the 3rd time I came in one of his employees who I spent a long time with did an awesome job. I love the atmosphere and everyone is always super friendly and accommodating. Not only does he serve the community but his charity wigs n wishes has done amazing things for women with cancer who have lost their hair due to chemo. He’s really an amazing person and has really done awesome things for the community. Highly recommended!

Martino & his team are by far the most professional and compassionate stylists. I recommend that everyone make a special attempt to make an appointment at the Salon. You will love all of the staff, the service and the salon.

I almost never go to a salon. The last perm I had was 20 years ago. I was getting tired of my hair going flat but was so afraid to get a perm. One day, coming home from my mom's, I drove by this amazing house. My research led me to Cartier Martino. After reading about this amazing man, I said "Go to his salon!".
I saw Patty and she did a wonderful job on my hair. I was never uncomfortable and she not once made me feel akward. My shampoo girl was wonderful,too.
I recommend this salon to anyone who is uncomfortable about getting to a salon.
