Monarch Diner and Restaurant

Went there on a Sunday around 11:15am, we were seated very quickly even though the place was full of customers. It’s been renovated and beautiful inside. Plenty of experienced and well trained staff to take your order. The menu is full of affordable choices. I do recommend going onto Google maps before you visit and look at some of the photos there which will give you an idea of what their food looks like. Service was great and the food was delicious. My only complaint was the level of noise coming from a table across from us was Extremely loud. On Sunday at that time of day I guess they’re just really busy so there was a higher level of talking everywhere but where we were sitting near a group of ladies having a great time they were just laughing at the top of their lungs. Maybe go there at a different time of the day, but it was a little too loud for me really to enjoy the meal. You could always ask the server to be seated somewhere where it’s less noise. Well managed and overall love eating here. We spent around $50 for three people plus a $10 tip. That was almost full, but there were still plenty of space.

Great place to come and dine. At the door, busy or not, we are greeted with a warm welcome either from Abby or Mario. When we dine, we usually ask for Jeff, Pepper, Beth, Amanda, or CJ. We've been dining here since 2019, and we come here regularly, so we've never had a bad experience

Stopped in for a quick bite. The atmosphere was great. Service was fast, servers pleasant, and the food was great. In true diner fashion, the portions were large and delicious.

The atmosphere was friendly and our server Cindy was the best! We had breakfast, which was excellent! Highly recommend the Monarch!

Staff is friendly and the food is good. The Oreo French toast was so good, definitely craved my sweet tooth. Came with group of 5 and was seated quickly, it is also kid friendly. There sweets display especially the cheesecakes looked so good at the front.

Really good place to go and get a nice casual dinner with the family. I enjoy coming here to get some good diner food and enjoy my stay. Everything is delicious, though I recommend most diner food and pasta is alright. Too watery with the sauce. Otherwise sandwiches are spectacular, and delicious for when you’re in need of one!

My wife and I went to Monarch last week for breakfast. I ordered the Pancakes and she ordered an omelet. The food was great, but even better than that, our waitress was incredible. Her name was Monica, and she was very attentive. She refilled our beverages before we even had to ask. She was so polite and friendly, that she really made our entire dining experience wonderful! Because of her, we'll definitely be back!

Never a bad experience here. The food is great and the staff is friendly. The prices are more than competitive. Always provide large portions. If you leave this place hungry there’s something wrong with you 😊

Was back in Jersey visiting friends and family. A family member suggested we'd stop by Monarch diner; Our server was Amanda. She was so pleasant, patient, and kind throughout our whole experience. Very knowledgeable with the menu. (She recommended the Monarch burger to me and man was it delicious) Amanda also went the extra mile, as one of our family members has a gluten allergy. Huge asset to your team! We will be back and I will tell everyone I know about our experience with her.

Quite a few vegetarian and vegan options. I ended up getting the power bowl minus grape leaves. Our waitress was great, telling us it’s the cleanest restaurant she’s worked in. They are very aware of people’s dietary restrictions and acknowledge them by cooking the food properly.

Prompt service, with more than a smile. Sam made our experience fun. She smiled the whole time and even managed to get my wife to laugh. The food,service and cleanliness. I had the tour of Italy. 5 stars. We will be back and hope to have Sam as our waitress!

Typical diner atmosphere. food was delicious and huge portions. Our server Kathy was awesome. They even have a liquor license🙂. We were able to get in no problem when everywhere else for Valentine’s Day was full. They also have delicious breakfasts

have gone here a couple times and the staff and atmosphere are very welcoming. Whether you go for breakfast or go for dinner the service is quick and diligent. Natasha has been my server a couple of times and she is very sociable, hardworking, and will always display kindness and care. would highly recommend this diner!

Really great food and service. Their extensive menu makes me wanna go to this place for a a whole month and try all their food. We had the Bourbon chicken, a Fat Cowboy sub and a sampler app. Everything was great, Rich our server helped us a lot without any hesitation, he also changes my sampler because I didn't want bacon on the potato skins (totally my fault there). He also made great suggestions and the food came out very quickly even though the place was packed.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat on our way to visit a friend. Amanda C was very friendly and our food was amazing. We are not from the area and aren't familiar with the some of the food on the menu, she took the time to explain everything we had questions about. Great food and service!

I went to the Monarch Diner my first time and I must say it was a wonderful experience. Everyone was so friendly, especially the hostesses Mariah as soon as we walked in she greeted us with a very welcoming smile . Making it a very good experience right away.
And our server Amanda continued with the same friendly welcoming experience and very attentive to us
Did not have to ask for anything. Both of these girls are excellent at their jobs 👏

We were there for dinner Saturday 2/24/24. Very good service and good food. My hubby ordered a whiskey sour up sweet. The manager made his drink and he said that it was very good. 🙌🏾 Thank you for outstanding service!!!

Live in the south and Visited for breakfast. Can’t get scrapple in the southern states. It was delicious. Our server Amanda C was very attentive and accommodating. Made sure our coffee was always hot and we were very happy with everything!

I brought my grandmother here and we were immediately greeted with a smiling, friendly face. Her name was Mariah and she helped my grandmother to the table because she has trouble with balance and that gesture alone was enough to make us want to go back. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious! My grandmother and I will definitely be back and we look forward to it.

Hands down one of the best management teams I've ever met! Attentive, helpful with their staff, and very accommodating! I'm on puree only food and they had no issues making their yummy Chicken Pot Pie into puree for me! Our waitress was on point with what we needed and made sure to refill things quickly. With a family of 4, and a busy restaurant, it only took 15 min to get our food, so BRAVO to the kitchen for being so quick on tickets! This is how a restaurant should be run.
