This is a fantastic credit union. The staff is very friendly, and the establishment is always pristine. It's a better experience than my other bank... at least here they know and always remember my name.

I worked with Shaè Byrd in deptford. She was very polite, professional, jovial & knowledgeable. I appreciate her assistance with my transaction.

I have been a member of South Jersey Federal Credit Union for 20+ years, and have never had an issue with them. I recently applied for my 3rd car loan, September 2022, and there were some technical issues that caused some stress and anxiety. Thanks to Carmen Correa, though who went the extra mile in helping me after I walked into, now First Harvest, with my last nerve. Despite not having an appointment, Carmen called me into her office and addressed the issue immediately. She made the necessary phone calls and did what needed to be done to complete my car loan process. I am most appreciative. This is what good customer service is. Thank you also to Rhonda Thompson who started the loan process for me. I understand that our jobs can be stressful at times, but continue to treat your customers like they matter. Thank you!

I wanted to take a few moments
here because I think it’s important
to highlight excellence. (Especially in a time when unfortunately excellence seems to be the exception rather
than the rule.)
My faith in people and therefore
the corporate world in general, has
been restored after dealing with Deena at South Jersey Credit Union.
Without going into detail, let me
just say that there was a mixup conserving my loan application that could have easily been ignored; especially since I am not a particularly important nor well to do person. I’m just the opposite in fact.
But because Deena was a rare executive who actually took the time to delve into the situation, find the misunderstanding and resolve the problem, I went forward with my loan. I left another completely adequate credit union to come here and I would highly recommend others do the same.
Yes, they are busy and yes this results in longer wait times on hold etc than I have experienced other places, but I am guessing that’s because of the exceptional individual service they provide because they value each and every customer.
Also, I’d like to mention Ranee who filed my application. She was extremely accurate and very patient with my many phone calls. And because she was willing to submit a unique type of loan on my behalf, this ultimately resulted in my positive experience with South Jersey Credit Union.
I’d wanted to publicly thank them both because sometimes the little day to day things people do in the business world, have a big impact on people’s lives. This loan will enable me to breathe for the first time in a very long time.

I had a wonderful experience getting my auto loan from First Harvest Credit Union. The process went incredibly smooth and my representative was proactive, responsive, and on top of everything. Could not recommend more.

I am rating this location 5 stars because of Edward in the Deptford NJ branch, I can see he is working diligently to provide exceptional customer service so thank goodness you have such a gem of a human on your team! The call center staff is complete trash, really they do nothing but pass the buck which angers callers! Edwards kindness towards valued customer is why we will continue to do business at this location! You must do more and fast to improve the call centers customer service, it is deplorable, they transfer without notifying you they are doing so…to voicemails even, they transfer to other people absolutely horrible !!!! Now back to Edward… his outstanding compassion and diligence towards the human experience needs to be commended! I want him to know how much his actions meant to us today…we thank you!!! You need more people like him in charge of the customer experience.

I feel like it is my own personal bank. Every employee will take out as much as he/she needs to help me. The line moves pretty quickly inside. The drive through people are also very accommodating. I am very happy, I only wish they had more locations!

You don't need to keep huge amounts to avoid fees or penalties.
You get a helpful "real" human being when you call with questions.
Their policies are simple, straightforward and up front.

I've had this account forever. Customer service Representative was Melissa she gave me outstanding customer service.

I don’t understand all these poor reviews. Evidently nobody has run into a young man named Ethan W while doing business with first harvest.

Sjfcu is a small bank with bank tellers that know you and I like that. There are no fees unless you overdraft. Personal are courteous and helpful.

This has been my bank for almost 15 years and it's a wonderful bank. They are convenient, the employees are courteous and friendly and they are in business to help people!

The drive-thru is good, they usually have all 3 spots open & the bank tellers are really nice

I've been banking with them for 18 plus yrs. And I like the personal care & the security of not allowing any fuad activity going on without my knowledge.
