This place is amazing it’s super comfortable I have really bad anxiety and these people made me feel at home. Especially Devin he kept us company and great services I really appreciated everything he did for us and a good mood. I highly recommend this place for sure. Tony makes the best food every time and it’s all natural he came out of the kitchen to ask us how it was and we said fantastic.

I just visited this charming Vietnamese cafe and was blown away by the delicious flavors and cool ambiance. The prices were reasonable (considering inflation), and you can tell everything was homemade and full of love. The vermicelli was authentic and bursting with flavor, and the banh mi was a true delight. What truly made my experience exceptional was the warm hospitality of the owner, Tonee. He went above and beyond to ensure that our visit was memorable, even though my boyfriend and I were only there to place a to-go order. I can't wait to return to this hidden gem and enjoy more of their wonderful food and hospitality!

This place is such a dope spot! My husband absolutely loved the vintage gaming systems, so the decor was on point. The food was outstanding! I tried the Chicken Pho with spring rolls and it was so good! He tried the Grilled Shrimp with steamed rice and truly enjoyed it, mentioning that it's definitely worth ordering again. I'm so excited to revisit!

Devin (the first personality you’ll be greeted by is ready to help you with anything), and Tony, (the the cook who spends 18 hours making your MSG free broth), are so welcoming and actually spend time getting to know their guests in this amazing comic book and a arcade game themed interior. This place passes the vibe check I will never go anywhere else again. This is now the spot!

Friendly and fast service. Daniel took care of us and he did a great job of catering to our needs. The food came out quickly and was made fresh to order. We ordered the Korean fried chicken, crispy salmon, and shaken beef. All of the dishes tasted great. My only complaint is that the fried rice was a little hard and dry for my liking. Overall good experience!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Devin. He is so very friendly. We asked and Devin also helped us by recommending a few dishes as it was our first visit. We had heard that they have delicious wonton soup and it did not disappoint as we are wonton soup fans! We also shared the shaken beef with fried rice. The beef was tender and flavorful. Definitely will be returning to try more items on the menu. Great experience!

My husband and I have been ordering food from the Retro Cafe since we discovered it about a year ago. We love veggie vermicelli and that is basically the only thing we order because we are vegan. All of the employees at Retro are phenomenal, but Devan is extra special! He has such a beautiful and kind spirit.
If you love Vietnamese food the way we do, I encourage you to try the Retro Cafe. You will not be disappointed.

AWESOME!!!!!! Is the one word summary, but I will explain. Devin was so friendly, professional, and courteous as the host. The food was outstanding, full of flavor, hot and fresh, amazing. We had the beef Vietnamese sandwich, wonton soup and vegetable egg rolls! Couldn’t be better. I think I would have started licking my fingers, but I held back. We will definitely be back soon!!! Thank you!!!

Always hits the spot! Order the pork vermicelli and extra vegetables. So fresh, quick and so flavorfull!!!

The soothies are fresh fruit and are so good also! Have had the watermelon and blueberry. Can't wait to try all of the other flavors!!!

Retro Cafe is my local lunch spot and it doesn't disappoint. The food is great, the staff is polite, and Devin always anticipates whatever I am going to need when bringing my order. I'm usually in there twice a week...my only regret is that I didn't find this restaurant sooner! Go see Devin and the rest of the team... they'll take care of you!

First time to retro cafe. Came in on a Sunday at 11:30 am, Chino welcome and greet us. They have great customer service!! We got the grilled chicken sandwich, grilled pork sandwich, spring rolls, egg rolls & artichoke refresher. Everything was delicious, Will be coming back!! Thank you Chino!!

I seriously love everything about this place! Food is authentic and tasty, the Nintendo Mario decor brings back memories and Devin is so attentive, providing the best customer service ever — Officially my new favorite spot! Highly recommend Korean Chicken Wings, Combination Sandwich and the chicken pho.

This pho definitely brought me back from a hangover. It does feel great to support a local business, but even better to support a great person. Tony’s a really caring and attentive person and is definitely someone that people should strive to be. Great food, great people, cypress has another banger.

The food never misses! My favorites and the spring rolls and retro chicken wings, but the Korean chicken wings are great too if you want a bit of spice. All the banh mi flavors are winners. Devin is friendly and helpful. I’m addicted.

Devin and the crew over at Retro Cafe always provide great customer service paired along with really really tasty Vietnamese sandwiches and egg rolls. Their menu is much more comprehensive than that! Check them out and you won’t be disappointed!

Wow!! This place is great. My husband and I stopped in tonight for the first time and ordered the vermicelli bowl, bahn mi sandwiches and spring rolls. ALL were fantastic! Service was fantastic as well - thank you Devin, Tom, Tracy and Tonnee! I wish I had taken some photos before we ate everything :) We will be back!
