Proprietors Park

Really nice park with great views of the Delaware river and Walt Whitman Bridge. A couple good areas for fishing and an awesome walking path with multiple benches to sit and watch the sunset, river or watch the world go by. A free parking lot with quite a bit of parking.

Beautiful and peaceful. I love how they did the park. I've taken my kids to a lot of parks and they have a few things I haven't seen before at others. It's really nice by the river too, gorgeous at sunset.

Very nice park. Watched the USS New Jersey travel by on its way to dry dock.

It’s a lovely place to relax and watch the water. Not so much happening there though, but you can watch the ships being offloaded.

I went to an event at this outdoor community space. The park and marina are right on the waterfront. The walking paths are beautiful and they do wonderful job of keeping it clean and safe. Really enjoyed myself.

It's not much of a park, so why am I giving it five stars? Well... Do you like ships?

Proprietors Park, is located directly across from the packer marine terminal in South Philadelphia, and adjacent to the whole logistics terminal in Gloucester City. If you visit the park, for some fresh air, and a view of the Delaware River, you'll get to watch all the shipping traffic coming up and down the river as well.

At packer marine terminal, you'll watch huge cargo ships coming in full of containers. You can watch the tugboats push them into port, or rotate them. You can see car carriers, unloading brand new Hyundai's and kias onto the dock.

But you'll also see traffic going further up and coming back down river, oftentimes some pretty interesting ships. It's fun to bring your kids, or to feel like a kid yourself.

You'll see. Lots of refrigerated cargo coming into halt, this terminal gets deliveries from Central America of bananas several times a week. And other fruit that come in from South Africa.

A neat park situated right on the Delaware River, in the shadow of the Walt Whitman Bridge. Be sure to walk the river's edge and check out the views from the fishing pier. Also of note are the many interesting and historical plaques and markers throughout the park.

Beautiful place. Very serene, quiet, clean, it’s a nice place to spend some quiet some. The view is also impeccable. Love it here!

A great place to walk & fish in Gloucester city. A boat deck, pier & walking paths along the Delaware river.

Nice and relaxing park with a nice pier to fish off of. Would highly recommend going if you haven't been there.

Excellent spot for night photography with industrial views. Plenty of parking there, safe area.

Just an all around great place to chill, walk, ride a bike, reflect, hang with friends, etc. But I'm biased. Cause so many memories doing all the above.

Easter egg hunt and sack races were so much fun today. Thanks for a great day

Great place to play Pokemon Go and Ingress as well as possibly starting to hide geocaches for other people to find.

Plenty of benches. Decent walking areas along the water. The pier was nice! Has a playground for the kids and some statues and things to look at.
Only bad thing was every light post was broken but seeing as how its dawn/dusk hours they arent needed.

Great place right on the river next to the Walt Whitman Bridge to relax, fish and at night time on holidays its a great view to watch fireworks from Penns Landing or after a Phillies game when they have them in July

Nice place to walk. So many things to see. Can't wait to see the view when it snows.

It's a relaxing place to go and fish off into the Delaware River or even just to sit and look at the sunset or sunrise.
