Despite my positive experience with Penn Medicine, I regret recommending my friend to the New Jersey offices due to the significant disparity in care in comparison to Philly-which has caused her unnecessary stress and hardship. The stress and inadequate care she has experienced during this pregnancy, exacerbated by significant complications and hospitalizations, is unacceptable.

The providers at Woodbury Heights/Cherry Hill half-hearted responses to the patient's concerns and unavailability when needed are concerning. It is perplexing why a practice would not schedule NST for a mother that’s AMA alone, especially when her delivery is required at 36 weeks due to complications? When she had previous spontaneous preterm delivery and this pregnancy threatened preterm delivery with multiple overnight admissions. With more complex complications that have arisen? No biophysical profile besides the standard 32 week growth scan?

I even accompanied her to a visit to observe firsthand. Unfortunate to say Dr. Israel does not embody the standards of Penn Medicine.

Overall, if you want the quality care that Penn offers you have to go directly into Philadelphia, save the stress and avoid NJ. I hope constructive criticism makes change for the better

The service and communication within this office is abysmal. I would give them zero stars if I could.

The first issue is with communication. There is no way to contact anyone in the office, you are only sent through a maze of answering boxes to be called back 5 DAYS LATER (I had to leave 2 messages). If your prescription lapses in between appointments, good luck. It takes 3 months to receive an appointment, and then they will cite that as their reason for not refilling your prescriptions or speaking with your pharmacist (who knows me personally now, because we regularly have issues regarding prescription refills). On the plus - by the time you get an appointment you’ll need an ultrasound anyway!

The bridge troll who deals with phone calls has no business working with a medical professional. She is rude, curt, and simply denies any statement that reflects a mistake on their part with a loud and aggressive “NO” or “incorrect”. She has the hospitality and people skills of a toilet brush, and hung the phone up on me when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service they were providing me.

All in all, avoid this office like the plague.

Trying to get a hold of ANYONE is this office is awful. I’ve never been so infuriated and frustrated with a doctors office. I’ve called and left multiple messages and been told “you’re on high priority to be called back”, just to be called back 5 minutes before closing and told “we will call you in the morning”, to be sent through the same process and still no help. What makes it even worse is that the voicemail I left is in the “if you’re having an emergency” box. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

Good luck making an appt. If you have an hour to spend dialing through the myriad of phone trees, you're in luck. What. A. Mess. Switching today to Virtua.

Used this practice for years, but they no longer accept my insurance nor do they accept out of pocket payments.
