Good chicken! It's different from a lot of the other chicken in the area, so don't go in expecting pan fried pepper chicken. The wings are really good, the fries are excellent, the beer is cold, and the service is excellent. The menu depends on the day, so look ahead before you go.

Unquie. Very friendly. I heard they have good fried chicken. I got the tenderloin it was good and big. They give you a lot of fries.

Enochsburg (The Fireside Inn) will always be my favorite place for chicken. I have enjoyed this restaurant since I was a little girl.(1970's) Nostalgic feeling every time I visit. Excellent service and always excellent chicken.

If you’re type that enjoys finding local spots and want something outside of the restaurant chains, this is your place. Also, get the chicken.

Delicious fried chicken and french fries, not a fancy place by any means but the food is great.

Heard from the grapevine this was the place to go, and boy, was I not disappointed!

I sat down and enjoyed a drink after ordering takeout, the friendly woman serving was more than hospitable and made me feel right at home despite me being out of town for work and being out of my element.

The food was great, hot, and even lasted the trip back to our place of lodging still piping hot.

The chicken, by all means, is what most people would consider the holy grail of "Great Southern Granny" fried chicken, yet somehow avoided being greasy.

Crispy, juicy, well seasoned, and tender as can be. Given the chance I will definitely be back.

Fried chicken was awesome and we also had the fried catfish. Both were great but I preferred the chicken. We had so much food leftover that lunch will be good tomorrow. Our server was amazing and very attentive. Definitely will return.

Wife and I came here with some friends. Our first time but not theirs. When you first walk in you sign in and wait to be seated.We ordered a variety of things from the menu which was simple and not crammed full which made deciding easy. The shrimp and breaded tenderloin where huge, fried pickles and corn nuggets where crisp, the chicken was juicy and the sweet tea was like it was from the south. The whole experience was pleasant including the scenery to and from in this small town and the prices were reasonable.

Tonight's chicken rates 8.5/10. One of the top fried foods I've had. It's still the best chicken I've had. Overall 9/10.

We have been coming here for years. The fried chicken is amazing and so is the catfish. It is worth a drive out in the country.

I've only been here one time. It is a little way off the interstate, so it may not be the best place to eat if you are in a hurry on the interstate. They have daily specials, like fish. Their chicken is amazing, I don't think I've ever seen that much steam come out of a chicken breast. You can order it by the chicken (2 breasts, 2 wings, 2 thighs, 2 legs, & 2 pieces we weren't sure about.) They had pretty good fries, which you can get regular or seasoned. Our waiter was very friendly, he talked to us a bit. You should definitely eat here.

Good friendly service. The chicken is excellent and the seasoned fries are very good. Their cole slaw is exceptional. This is a very good place to eat. All their menu items are delicious.

If you have not had fried chicken from The Fireside Inn you are really missing out... Situated 3 mi off of interstate 74 it's a must eat at if you really enjoy fried Chicken... It just get a fried chicken as you will get anywhere in the country as far as I'm concerned.... They also have really cold beer for those that are interested in that beverage...
