Good honest locally owned shop. Have had multiple good experiences including new AC compressor install and most recently a radiator replacement. I let Ron know I needed it done within the day and they got it done! Great group here would recommend to anyone.

Angel Services gives exceptional service. They are friendly, professional and experienced. We were driving from Savoy to Chicago, and had a flat tire. There was no spare. It was 11 pm and we could not get a tow truck to come. We found a motel for the night, and the next day, we called 5 tire repair shops. None had the size tire that we needed. We called Angel Services, they were able to provide us with the phone number of Auto Services who towed our car to their shop to determine whether the tire could be repaired or needed to be replaced. Auto Services came within 10 minutes. The 3 of us were brought to their shop and brought to their waiting room which is clean and comfortable. Within 30 minutes our tire was shown to us and it was explained to us why that hole in the side of the tire could not be repaired. The tire was replaced, and they checked the air pressure of the other 3 tires. We drove back to Chicago without incident. What had been a bad experience, turned into a very pleasant one because of their professionalism.

My husband and I were driving home to Chicago from Carbondale when a light came on in our car and went into “limp mode”.

It was a Sunday night, raining, and AAA wasn’t able to help us. We were either facing a $700 tow back to Chicago or leaving our car and coming back via rental car another day. Both options far from ideal.

We were able to reach William who was kind enough to meet us at the shop. He said he would scan the car and see how serious the issue to see what we could do in the meantime.

He scanned the car, told us a few issues it could be, and even made a call to a VW specialist to gain more insight.

He gave us his best advice that if we went slowly home we should be fine.

After all this he refused payment! He was so kind and helpful and really put our minds at ease during an unexpectedly stressful situation.

After waiting for a response from AAA for 3 hours, we were lucky to find (via Google) Angel Services. Will came to a rest area where we had been waiting & he professionally & compassionately started the car, then followed us until he knew we'd be ok. I am sure he has heard it many times, but he was truly our angel!

My family and I were driving along 1-57 en route to Wisconsin to visit relatives for Christmas 2016, when our car's serpentine belt and tension pulley fell off. Thanks be to God, the water pump on our vehicle is connected by the timing chain, so we were able to continue driving into Angel Services. As I was soon to find out, it could not have been better named.

It was literally five minutes before closing but Ron, the primary mechanic, nevertheless was happy to take a look at the car, make a diagnosis, called three different parts suppliers for prices and availability, and assemble a quote in about twenty minutes. Unfortunately, the Subaru parts couldn't be delivered until the following morning.

It was dark, cold and a few days before Christmas. I had my wife, infant son and dog with me and I was worried about getting them food and shelter for the night and getting to Wisconsin before Christmas. Ron made a hotel recommendation for us and very kindly transported the whole gang - including the dog! - and our luggage in his personal vehicle to our digs for the night.

The next morning, I was picked up by the very kind owner of Angel Services and brought to the shop. The car was the first item on the docket and the repair had been executed thoroughly. Furthermore, the final bill was of exceptional value. If I had more time I would have asked for other maintenance items to be performed, but alas! there was no time.
There were so many things that could have gone wrong, but Ron and Angel Services went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were cared for and would be back on the road as soon as possible.

Ron is the best mechanic I have ever had working on my car. I took my car in to get some new wheels and tires put on. He did that, but a whole lot more. He printed out Acura's recommended maintenance guide and went though the checklists, taking a look at everything they recommended. He provided me with a report of everything he had done, as well as actually showing me the items that were in need of attention soon. I had asked for a 4 wheel alignment and he put the car on the machine only to call me back and show me how everything was in alignment and I didn't need to spend the money.

Honest, trustworthy, and will definitely go back, despite the fact that it is a bit of a drive from Bloomington! They're worth it!!

I like this place a lot but i can say yes you can waite a little while before you see some one just because of how buissy they are. I would also like to say that they are great to get a vehicle transfered in your name plates sticker and title when this covid-19 hit the first time when all dmvs were closed they were not and were able to get my truck taken care of right away i know they take cash but im not sure if they take cards if anyone knows please let me know because i will be going there monday to get another vehicle taken care of because once again do to this covid-19 again that way i can have all my stuff on the road and these are the people to go to get things taken care of and i would recommend this place to anyone i know even dispite what other people say about them. Salt of the earth type of people. Required a tow for a flat tire, and on the way back to the shop, Will, the driver pulled off on the highway in order to check on another driver with their hazards on. There was no need to help, but he went out of his way to ensure their safety. Nice guys and certainly the type of people you can trust to provide reliable service.

I was traveling through the area and needed two tires balanced. Everyone was friendly and they got back on the road within an hour. If I lived in the area i'd buy all my tires from them.
