We had so much fun. So much to look at and love the originality of it. Restaurant was amazing, great service and how many places can you eat in a carriage?! Will return.

Its hard to express how wonderful this place is! Its that homey country hospitality that over whelmed me. I came for lunch, chose the buffet. As others have said, I've never experienced better, more tasty meal ever! I would like to especially mention my server, Sharon. She is just the most wonderful woman in the world! A credit to her and this fine establishment.

The restaurant and all the shops here are very well laid out, professional, and executed. I have always enjoyed visiting the car show that happens here during the summer on Thursds, called the Cruise In. The theatre features fun shows though I haven’t seen one in a few years. Would highly recommend to tourists and locals!

Nice place to shop for novelty and has great place to eat. I go here 4 or 5 times a year to the Essenhaus restaurant. They have great food and then you can visit all of the shops on the grounds. Can even get buggy rides in the summer. Amish food delisious. Also Amish bakery pastries , jams and deserts at the restaurant part.

Beautiful any season. All shops closed on Sunday. Lovely hotel and grounds, drive through covered bridge. Bakery pies/cookies a must try/buy. Whoopie pies are here!

This place is so cool they have so many awesome Amish crafts great food jellies jams try their apple butter they're famous for it. Their donuts are awesome too got to get there early in the morning to get good Donuts they sell out quick and there's thousands upon thousands made. I don't go to at Northern Indiana and not stop. If you are coming from out of town and want to have a country side experience this is the right place to come. The restaurant offer family style food or menu as well. Food is delicious and dessert are incredible tasty.

Great restaurant for family style Amish cooking for a small, medium or large group. Nice gift shop, restrooms, and meeting rooms. The shops are behind restaurant in pleasant village styled buildings. Quilts and other items offered for sale.

Wonderful food and country atmosphere. Many unique gifts and yummy baked goods for purchase. Nice and clean. Will definitely visit again soon!

The essenhaus is the best place ever! Every time we come back to visit family in Indiana we always have to make a trip. The Fried chicken is the best I ever had! Curious if the broast it.. The desserts are simply too much I'm way too full to ever eat it all. If you walk away hungry you must have a tapeworm... Lol. The food is very reasonable the people are extremely friendly I always feel like family every time I visit. This is the pinnacle of Amish food.
