This guy is top notch. He cut my 20" long hair to give me a Gentlemens haircut and now wherever I go people actually respect me. He does great work.

Rex did an amazing job on my little one he always does. Ever since my son turned one he has always been there to do his hair. Rex, the owner of 1st Street Barber Shop provides professional style and quality hair cuts at a great price. I have been going there for almost a year after being constantly disappointed and let down by Sport- Clips, Great Clips, and other barbers around Salem area. Rex and his girl(s) delivers every time. I have never been complimented so much from a barbers skill with hair. He’s stayed after business hours to ensure my son and I got our haircuts, never has he worked and rushed through a cut. He’s great with kids and my three year old son has been relaxed and easy going every time, thanks to Rex being so kid friendly. You will get what you want with YOUR hair and looks. They are my goto barber now. Rex takes the time to give you the haircut you want. The price is close to the regular price you'll pay elsewhere, but I like they take the time to give you a great haircut. They're very friendly and the atmosphere is a family friendly.

Rex is the man. He's the only barber I've ever recommended. Real down to earth and honest and real good at his job. I recommend every guy i know to stop in for a cut, because after their first one i know they will be back as a customer for life.

This is where my son (3.5) always gets his hair cut. Usually my husband takes him, but this weekend I took him for the first time. The barber did a great job, he was very precise. I appreciated that the barber was very friendly, while still remaining professional. The cost of the haircut was very fair, we will definitely continue to take our little boy here!

Finding a good place to get a haircut has always been a problem for me, until i stumbled in to 1st street barber shop in stayton. I was promptly greeted by Rex who worked with me to figure out what i was looking for. He did a superb job! I highly recommend this place!
