Kimmel Park Play Area

Kimmel Park in Mills City is a little treasure with beautiful scenery, the Willamette River, picnic tables, a children's playground, Pavillion, and public restrooms. Great place for a family barbeque or birthday party celebration.

Beautiful and relaxing. Relatively quiet. Nice place for an afternoon picnic.

We come here all of the time. They have great covered areas for get togethers. One is overlooking the river, while the other is closer to the play area. The playground is updated and lots of fun for the kids. They also have a horseshoe pit for public use. Kimmel Park has bathrooms that are cleaned and maintained regularly. Linn County Sheriff's Department patrols the area often so our community is safe. Very well kept park. Great place to spend a day with family. We have Birthday parties here every year. There are also Community events that take place here.

Great little park on the river. Mostly shaded with picnic tables and grills. They have a brightly painted Merry-go-round! There is also a baseball field with a few bleachers behind the backstop & a play structure.

There was an Arts & Music festival today. Small but entertaining. The park is beautiful; perfect for kids and picnics right next to the river.The trail along the river is short but maintained; not good for wheelchairs though.

The park is big with plenty of different activities. There's a playground for the kiddos, a couple covered picnic areas, swings, merry-go-round, boat ramp, access to the river for fishing, horseshoe pits, a baseball field, a soccer net, scattered benches and picnic tables. Great place for a summer BBQ or birthday party.

Here at the park for the Fourth of July 2017, celebration. This is when my family always does our annual get together. Lots to do all day as well as the extras we work in, to make our day just perfect and filled with lots of fun. Thanks MILL City!

Beautiful community park with a well-mannered children's area. Lovely grounds near the river so just watch the little ones. Mill City does a nice job of having community events there. Stop by for a relaxing park.

Nice little park in Mill city,never crowded,easy access to the Santiam river,with a nice bbq area thats covered!

Great park for relaxing and taking the family for a day out. Enjoyed 4th of July last year.. had line entertainment. Was on of the best 4ths I have ever spent.. would highly recommend going to that event

Went there for the 4th of July they have lots of vendors really good food street tacos funnel cakes it was a really good time people that are generally pretty nice and personable very polite had a really good time I like that it's right on the river

I love this place purely because of the merry go round. It really just hits. There is a good energy, and all around good vibe to the park.

I love a block from the park. It is a nice park right on the Santiam river. Highly recommend you check it out if your in Mill City.

Very nice park. Yearly firework show here. Been playing here since I was little.

Nice place for a picnic. Also away from the highway so not a lot of traffic noise.

Fun family oriented park! Baseball fields, playgrounds, covered structures and trails. It's right on the Santiam!
