Ramada by Wyndham Angola/Fremont Area

I really don't understand all the negative reviews about this place. We booked a room online and it was pretty cheap. The receptionist was nice and the check in was really quick and smooth. The room was really nice too, clean towels, and a clean bathroom. There was a complimentary breakfast as well with scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, waffles, etc. We didn't go to the pool area but I really liked what I got for the price I paid. I guess people are getting disappointed trying to get 5 star experience from a room under $100 dollars a day.

I made a mistake when I booked and cost them a few dollars. The new management was very understanding and didn’t charge me what they could have. They are working on updating and remodeling. The room was bigger than expected. There was some rust stains in the bathtub but I can look past that since new management is trying to rebrand. Nice hot breakfast not your typical muffins and fruit. They had a pool but we didn’t use it. Plenty of parking and relatively safe area. Close to the highway which was convenient to get back on the road to our destination.
Don’t judge on the old management, the new is trying to make it better and are invested to make their customers a priority.

Honestly I can't understand the bad reviews about this place. It had a great breakfast, pool looked good and was open even though I didn't use it. Bed was big and comfortable. Room was quiet. WiFi worked but a bit patchy. Only downside is that it's not within walking distance of anywhere but apart from that I give it a full 5 stars.

Nice place. Staff was a little pushy but then I was a little not in the mood to be pushed. Probably both of us. BUT hotel was clean. Room was nice. AC worked. Definitely would come again

Very clean room. Great sounding breakfast though we overslept ☹ (beds very comfortable). Friendly and hospitable staff. It's not far off I-80 on I-69 so that was great too (since we were traveling on I-80). There is a $50 pet fee (FYI).

The room was not bad. It could have used a new tub. It's quiet, clean, the breakfast was good. They had someone there making made to order omelets.

This is on of my favorite places to stay. The staff is always friendly and professional. The breakfast is spot on, love the fresh to made omelets. They have truck parking and CDL discounts which makes it even better

Well, it was all good until the man they serves the breakfast was really rude. Even after I said thank you these omelets look really great, All that he could say was " yea " I tried to have an open mind as to why he was rude/ grumpy but it changed to when he started like slamming things down when he put things down. So needless to say when we checked out the front desk people were then also rude to us telling us we had to leave that we couldn't be just sitting around in the lobby. We were waiting on our rides to get there. And it was the lady that prior to this happening was great to us. So watch the grumpy A.M. person he doesn't like making eggs that early... Lol

We celebrated our daughter's birthday party 🎈🎉, 1st time there and we live an hour away. Must stay the experience was wonderful 😃. The girls loved the pool, and we slept like logs. The beds were awesome!!!! Definitely a pleasure and we will be going back. Love the staff.

My family & I love staying at this Ramada. The staff is always friendly, helpful, & accommodating. The rooms are always clean & the welcome note the housekeeping staff put in the rooms makes me smile. And the breakfast always tastes great (the B&G is my favorite). And as an added bonus the view from the courtyard is breathtaking.

Great hotel. Very clean not to mention they have good food, an arcade for kids.Belive it or not the pool is clean and kept up to date. The staff was very friendly and never had any problems answering any of my questions. One more thing, they seem like they care about covid. They use bleach spray to clean up every room after someone leaves.overall it's a great hotel with good food and stuff to do with kids. They also have grills. So you can bring your own foods and grill it yourself and then you and the wife or kids can take a swim. Hope you enjoy your stay..... ps.. I am just a regular patron and I wasn't paid for my statements.

Great hotel if I may say so myself. Rooms are very clean, and attended to on the daily basis.t Staff members are amazing and friendly. Continental breakfast serves it's purpose. Indoor pool adn temperature is awesome. Food and bar staff and food are great. All over experience was very good.

Bonnie is the nicest front desk clerk ever. The rooms are currently being remodeled. The beds are comfy. Very quiet, great night sleep. The restaurant next door is closed on Tues but very good food and excellent selection of drinks.

I go to motels for a good night's sleep, not to inspect the corners and crannies for specks of dirt.
The bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of sheets and blanked on the bed. I slept very well.
The ac/heat unit worked fine. The tv worked fine. The shower had plenty of pressure and was plenty hot for me. It was a very comfortable stay. One of my best by far. If you want sleep, comfort and rest and don't want to go around searching for dirt, I highly recommend this motel. Pete P

The staff was wonderful! I left my new i-pad in the room. Realized my loss at the airport; but there wasn't sufficient time to return to the motel. I phoned the motel from the airport and my i-pad had already been turned into the front desk. They asked if I'd like it mailed to my home in California and I said, "Yes, please". Not only did they mail it, they even checked to see the least expensive method of shipping--the i-pad arrived in perfect shape. Thank you SO much. I enjoyed my stay and REALLY appreciate the service.

I've heard countless opions about Ramada both positive and negative. I have stayed here on several occasions, I've had my own complaints over the years while staying there however with a simple call to the desk the staff was always willing to accommodate any need quicker and with courtesy. The Ramadas character and charm shows in the warm, indoor pool, indoor Sana ,and video arcades. It's not the most fancy of hotels, it's not a place for the person looking for 5 star, problem free stay. But ts a clean, comfortable relaxing environment that's reasonably affordable with 24hr. friendly staff. This is a hotel worth a damn and worth a chance

Awesome stay. Room was so clean and fresh. The housekeepers here are awesome people. Very friendly and always helpful. We stayed for three days during orientation at Tradition Transport and they were always there to help us. Thanks guys for a great stay!!!😀😀😀😀

I have absolutely only one problem with the Ramada Inn in Angola Indiana. There's no Refrigeration or refrigerators inside the rooms. I guess the answer is pretty simple just pack a cooler with ice.

This was a great last minute find. They are in the process of removating but very clean. Restaurant next door was fantastic and made it so we didn't have to get back in the car. Breakfast the next morning had a good assortment and fresh omelets.
