Amazing variety of birds to see at the bay including migratory ones. Easy to get to. No more than an hour from Kampala. Get there early morning if you can and head out to see the birds with the wonderful local Bird guide called Farouk (256775036923). You might catch a glimpse of the monitor lizards too.

IBA with splendid bird species especially when you take the boat, a lot of migrants and residents. Birding both on lake and land give an immense exceptional experience.
