This already legendary place is imbued with history and the struggle of the insurgent army, the UPA (Ukraine) against the russian invaders (the USSR), and there are also pieces of modern history. An unusual place with a warm atmosphere and delicious food. Entrance only by secret slogan (passwords) ;)

Brilliant wwii concept and so well done, the entire restaurant is a maze deep underground. The food is excellent, served in tin bowls, amazing Borsch among a huge menu selection. The service is fast and the staff friendly, once you get past the armed guard at the door! Be sure you know the password before you try to get in 😉

No label out, was difficult to find.Extremely different place -nobody would access without password. .Served Ukrainian national food in military style and filled with symbols of Ukrainian resistance. As a surprising bonus, the restaurant has a small shop with a lot of military souvenirs. Couldnt resist and purchased myself a couple😅

Strong traditional Ukrainian restaurant. I love the feel of this place. It does get quite warm in there however. There is basically no AC so get used to wiping your forehead if you're hot natured! Otherwise, it had some great traditional Ukrainian food and a great atmosphere!

Very nice and relax place. I like here. Food was very delicious. But service very important. Waiters were very good. Waiter was very good. I don’t know his name but he is very helpful and kind. I was there yesterday early. Thank you.

One of the best experiences in my life. You should definitely go there if you are in or near Lviv. (BTW, not recommended if you are with kids). Atmosphere is 10/10, bartenders and waiters are super nice and fun! Place is very hard to find and make sure that that's it, but it's totally worth it. Don't read too much reviews, they will spoil your fun of entering.

Place which is hidden, no signs, no advertisements, even doors are locked from inside. It’s like you are going to basement.
After knocking, solder with kalshnikov and asking for password:) You have to reply Slava Ukraina! Drink one shot of vodka and you are free to enter Wooden tables, atmosphere like in solder Baracks. And amazing logjam food :)

A wonderful authentic must-visiting place in Lviv. I highly recommend the liqueurs. The food here is simple, traditional Ukrainian cuisine, and not the tastiest in Lviv, plus the prices are high. Better to come here not hungry, for the drinks and the atmosphere. The waiters, as dramatic actors, play the partisans beautifully.

The lines are insane, but the place is truly iconic - you should check it at least to see what the fuzz is about. Great food (we tried the potato pancakes), great atmosphere and a truly ukranian experience.

Best food experience in Lviv! First off, you are waiting in line in front of door with absolutely no markings. Then, an army officer opens you the door asking you for the password! If correct, you'll enter in war zone and greeted with a shot! After you go down in trenches with no indication whatsoever and a 'waiter' sends you to frontline.
Meals are delicious (pork belly, half meter sausage are a blast) and served in military plates. Ambiance is really realistic, decoration is to be seen.

Before leaving, you have access to a military backyard with lots of war pieces, what an excellent idea! There is also a shop with typical souvenirs (t-shirts, magnets...)

Prices are not overrated, the experience is amazing! Keep in mind that the restaurant is on the main place of Lviv!

They are overcoming all of the expectations you would possibly be able to think about. It’s the restaurant you can enter only if you tell them the password, there is no any kind of signs that this is the restaurant (no logo, no name tag, nothing). It’s just brilliant experience and food. Really recommended, you just have to get through everything on your own. Food is delicious too 😋

We struggled to find them at first, so make sure you are patient. Don’t ask locals about their location - find it by yourself 😉

Nice place. The location is very central, the entrance is directly through the door on the first floor. The food is very tasty and they play ukrainian local music. Maybe we came across it because we went in the evening. Prices are quite reasonable.

This is the first world war reenactment bar/restaurant that I have ever been too. I like it. It was well deocrated and you would feel very immersed in the bunker. You have to find the secret entrance and the guy will give you a shot when you enter lol.

They even had a band playing music from that era. Which I thought was amazing.

The food was also....shall we say . .authentic.....authenticly unpalatable.

I would highly recommend against their mushroom soup or their hot cake or really ..any food..

The drinks are decent though.

Historical place in the centre of Lviv. You need to say password (Glory to Ukraine!) if you want to get inside this restaurant (It's a museum and restaurant together). Traditional Ukrainian kitchen with good service. Must visit place in Lviv.

This a very atmospheric restaurant in underground style. All menu very good and tasty. Here you can ask for private music performances for you and your lover. Personnel very gently and friendly!

Nice place, tasty food. Athmosphere of rebel life of ukrainian nationalists. Always queues to sit there. You can make photo with old gun and army costume. Waiters are attentive. You must say words "Glory to heroes" on entrance and drink medovuha (vodka with honey) on entrance. That's cool and unique.

Amazing historical atmosphere in a bunker under the old town. Delicious traditional food at a very affordable price. A must visit in Lviv!

Outstanding experience! Learn the password before you enter, and you'll still need to do a shot of vodka and possibly peel some potatoes before being shown the way to the bunker! Don't forget to visit the AAA on top of the building!
