涼山 愛玉（紅帝紅茶）

Deserves at least 6 stars. I tasted most all of the aiyu jelly on the menu, except for the coffee jelly and the mulberry jelly (which was out of stock). This place has simply the best textured, tastiest, and freshest aiyu jelly that I had the pleasure of eating. It is very soft, but does not fall apart when you scoop it up, unlike those that comes in a can or bottle. You have to reduce the jelly size prior to scooping it up, otherwise it might slip off your spoon and splash the soup all over you. The fibers, from the aiyu seed, are present in the jelly, so you know it is made from real ingredients. When ordering, I overheard the staff asking whether the "jelly has coagulated yet", which is an indication that it is made fresh and in-house. The aiyu jelly is the real deal.

In fact, I would not be surprised if all the ingredients came from local farms or grown right in their backyards. The people living in this village (多納村, pronounced Duo-Na Village) are the West Rukai People, the native/aboriginal people of Taiwan. Thus, I trust their expertise in selecting and preparing ingredients.

The interior of the the shop is decorated and displays several cultural artifacts of the Rukai people, including a men's' ceremonial sword and traditional headdress, foxtail millet bundles (literal translation of 小米束), wooden mortar and pestle used for making sticky rice cake, and pictures of a man and woman in traditional formal Rukai clothing.

Simply put, this is a must go-to place for people wishing to experience Rukai cuisine and culture.

小米酒咖啡、小米酒檸檬愛玉、小米愛玉。店員：「今天想要喝很多喔。」特愛小米酒愛玉，微醺酒味和黑糖漿、手製山愛玉融合，配上冰鎮簡章中無敵，可惜當天沒有碎冰只剩冰塊。

小米酒咖啡加了1/4杯小米酒，熱度引出酒精，迎面是濃濃厚實的酒香，咖啡淺焙偏酸，加上酸香的小米酒，口味強烈但值得一喝。小米愛玉當然是無庸置疑的招牌啦，逛完部落再來一碗。

小米紅豆愛玉（60），檸檬酸甜+小米Q軟+紅豆煮的不了軟爛粒粒分明。整體吃起來滿分。份量蠻大，在觀光區算高CP值
