肯定五星，做了這麼多間校園樹木，有認真在規劃校園樹木的少之又少，更不要說適當的疏伐了，知道臺灣有觀念這麼先進的學校，我很感動。

校長跟主任，運用校外教學機會，讓學生順道在九份昇平戲院演奏，對學生與觀眾來說，都是令人印象深刻的體驗，超棒的！

創校迄今已 65 年的潮南國小，其前身是潮州國小潮南分校，於1948年 9 月 1 日成 立，讓旗杆厝、埤內、大腳仙林、武丁、檨仔腳、部邊等村莊的孩子能就近學習，亦讓超齡失學的孩子重拾到校學習機會。 創校當時，沒有校舍，利用黃洪枝雀女士之香蕉寮當適齡學 童教室，超齡混合班則利用劉彩霞老師家的大樹下上課。

1951年 9 月 1 日，奉准獨立 設校，更名為潮南國民學校；1968年 8 月 1 日，改制校名為屏東縣潮州鎮潮南國民小學。校舍經過多次的改建，新校舍於 2009年 3 月 3 日落成，環境優美，是一所小而雅緻的 小型學校。具設計感的校舍給孩子舒適的學習環境，學校周圍無商店與住家，全為林地與綠地，校園環境與大自然融合。師資陣容堅強，教學經驗豐富，學校與社區家長互動積極，關懷孩子學習狀況，是值得信賴的夥伴。家長對土地有濃厚感情， 那份認同支持著學校的食農教育推動與多元課程的轉化，一切就在這自然的環境與氛圍中漸進轉化。
