Yuejin Lantern Festival held during the Lunar New Year is one of the most popular events for visitors.The beautiful waterfront park, small bridges and flowing water, flowers and trees, night lights, and diverse landscapes.The locals are very kind.❤2023 Yuejin Lantern Festival.

This place was mesmerizing! All the art displays were beautiful & had story. I took 3-4 hours to finish all the are. Really enjoyed the time there. This is the best lantern festival in Tainan. Moreover, it was FREE! ❤

I went there during 2019 lantern festival, the riverside is amazingly decorated. The river is well-preserved, with no odor.

The riverside park is at the outskirts of the district. It takes about 20min driving from Xinying station.

My fiancé and I were a day too early for the lantern festival when we came, but the magic of this place was still very much there. Thanks to the organizers who had lit up a few small floats to share what's yet to come, It does get a bit crowded in some areas but that's alright since it gives everyone a chance to take it all in.

It's worthy visiting during the lunar new year for Yuejin Lantern Festival. Each year the organizer invites different artists to design new pieces according to the theme. Avoid visiting during weekends.
