Great experience. 竹青庭 ~ 2F of the former 台西客運. Interior decoration all from hand woven bamboo. Set meal with bamboo shoots in the dishes. Ground floor of the bus terminus , used to be the bus waiting area, now it's a dessert place.

One addition to the earlier comment--Beyoung gave us these desert balls (deep fried sweet potato balls) as a thank you (answering Google questions).
I was silly and tried trading them. Luckily, we kept them.
On the bus on the way back, my wife remarked that they were the best desert balls she'd ever tried in Taiwan. I agreed.
When you visit--and remember, it's conveniently on the second floor of the bus depot (with air conditioning) and makes an excellent place to sit and relax with an iced coffee or tea (or a delicious meal) while waiting for the next bus--plan to take a bag of those desert balls with you. They're really good!
Planning a one hour pause between busses (the other depot is a 2 minute walk down the hill) will allow you to rest, refresh yourself, and eat a hearty meal as well.

Beautiful space with a meaningful backstory and a thoughtful menu. The food is a little expensive by local standards but it's extremely filling (look at the huge portions) and healthy - fresh, local ingredients are used. You definitely need to have a meal here if you are in zhushan!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to all travellers visiting Zhu Shan. It's located on the 2nd floor of the 台西客运 Bus Terminal. The restaurant makes use of locally sourced bamboo in its modern and unique interior design. The ingredients of the food are all locally grown as well.

Go for the set meals ranging from 280 to 300 NTD. Portions are big and very filling (a tad too much for me) Ingredients are very fresh and the food is very healthy and tasty. You should also add 50 NTD for a drink - there's only 1 choice: hot/cold milk tea with rice cracker. This is a signature drink and it is SO GOOD!

A nice, relaxing place with very friendly and helpful staff. The food selection features some local flavours (my favourite is a milk tea with locally sourced rice milk mix).
The decor is extremely instagramable.

竹青庭人文空間，業主把台西客運荒廢已久的車站租下來，重新翻新閒置空間再利用，還有搭配當地藝術來創造讓人驚艷的設計，一樓打造成台西冰菓室，二樓則是竹青庭餐廳。
1F整體空間沒有太多裝飾，保留當時車站的原貌利用當地竹山的竹編椅子，桌子環繞著圓柱，讓整個空間很寬敞，來時剛好中午在車站也不會覺得很悶熱。
2F一拉開門進入餐廳就被眼前的造景吸引，忍不住用相機多拍幾張，很厲害的巧思用竹編把空間修飾成這樣自然優美的弧度曲線，搭配竹編的吊燈來點綴更顯風華。
點了招牌的鮮筍焢五花，兩人一起把它吃完，滿清爽的不會因為五花肉顯得油膩。
飯後來點甜點-地瓜布朗尼，腦補想說是地瓜口味的布朗尼，原來是地瓜口味的冰淇淋，有烤箱加熱過的布朗尼很好吃，口感我覺得很像是巧克力版的黑糖糕~哈哈個人看法僅供參考。

攝於2023年1月22日竹青庭人文空間，春節期間走春逛到這裡，竹編造型空間令人驚喜，好吃清爽的冰淇淋令人回味 。

改造舊客運站，竹編裝潢的用餐環境，午後來杯咖啡或茶飲，靜靜地看著窗外竹子、遠山，心遠地偏放鬆自在。
竹山老街過年有燈會，帶著家人到此走走逛逛，安排在此用餐用新台幣支持愛鄉的青年。

不是在正竹山市區，所以路不會很小條還蠻好開的，旁邊有停車場，大約100-200公尺處，停車非常方便，冷氣也很涼。

位置不多，前往之前務必要提早預約，不然很容易就客滿了，
位置在台西客運的2樓，1樓是在販售小農商品以及冰淇淋，如果不想要用餐也可以去1樓買個飲料或冰淇淋坐在那邊拍照，感覺也很舒服

有一個很小的路口，寫著竹青庭，走進去就是了，蔡單也蠻多樣化的，有火鍋、套餐、使用在地食材，與小農配合的食材所製作的新鮮當季食材餐點，這是我們點了三個套餐
蕃茄牛肉煲，松阪豬、醬筍雞腿煲

口味都很不錯，調味也很適中，雞腿煲吃的出來是土雞腿，皮還有釋放出一些膠質，還有附贈一杯附餐飲料，下次應該會來試試看不同的料理。

人手看起來不少，但櫃檯的點餐順序有點奇怪，抵達的時候，因為前面有排一個在結帳的人，所以就站在後面等他結帳完要帶領我們入座，結果等了蠻久的，服務人員結完帳 ，卻還要去接我們後面那一個想要結帳的客人（想要讓我們在那空等😅）

桌子跟裝飾很多竹製，很有人文氣息

個人覺得偏清淡，好吃。文藝空間，和一樓的舊客運站風格完全不同，是個舒適的環境。

餐廳位於台西客運的二樓，一開始還找不到入口處，一樓賣冰的阿姨提醒才知道
沿著階梯走上二樓進餐廳，撲面而來的是一個悠閒的氣氛，室內能用竹子佈置的地方幾乎都用上了，由於我們是訂中午11點，所以位置很空，找了一個位置坐下就開始點餐
餐點價位也都很合理，滿六歲的小孩需要低消，但低消60元還是80元而已～
餐點上的很快，感覺是都已經做好，但不影響美味，幫小孩點的兒童餐（雞肉燴飯）小孩也吃光光！特別值得稱讚的是它的飲料✅奇異果桑椹汁，以及✅奶茶（確切名字忘記了...），雖然要另外加價換，但非常好喝，尤其是果汁濾渣都有濾乾淨，融合度很棒又順口。
附近有一個大✅停車場很好停車，吃完飯也可以到一樓來吃個冰
唯一美中不足的是店員到後期似乎因為忙碌，臉都滿臭的，要上甜點之前等了很久，一直都沒有來收桌子

二樓用餐環境寬敞，富有竹趣，餐食也有竹筍美味。一樓開放空間整潔，尤其義工親切，令遊客倍感溫馨！
