畢業40年的校友來看，噴水池、涼亭假山造景、遊樂器材、司令台、籃球場，甚至每一棟教學大樓都拆除重建過了。目前童年深刻的記憶，只剩下的三座水泥動物造型。
多年前正門那一段故意把圍牆拆除，也把大樹剃頭髮，還好，目前綠樹開始茁壯起來，綠蔭增加不少。
運動場四周的大樹很多，樹種也有教學功能；草皮雖經常使用，卻也維護地不錯。每日清晨與傍晚時分，都能吸引居民前來運動、散步、打球；假日前來，才會多了點孩童的嬉笑聲。而且我在運動場漫步，從來沒有聽過孩子們粗魯的對話。
