Seka Park Seaside Public Garden

A very nice and Beautiful park,one of the nicest in area in my opinion with different kinds of trees and plants, the best spot which is very suitable for kids, walkers, families, friends, as it contains play areas, walking paths areas for picnics, cafe's, rest room services and with a large variety of food cuisines.
The spot is also very clean and is a great safe place for family and friends.

You can feel peace and silence. Very nice place. I will visit there again definitely if I have a chance

The prettiest park in Izmit/Kocaeli where you can walk, cycle, or do any other activities. The park is well maintained so I gotta say the local government is doing a great job to maintain it very clean and safe. There are some modern playgrounds in the park where kids can play safely away from the water, so don't worry letting them play and run around the park. The park also has one retired fighter jet F4 Phantom from Turkish Airforce.

You can grab your picnic stuff and just have a very enjoyable time sitting by the water. Absolutely recommend visiting!

Very nice and calm place, definitely recommend it. You can have a walk or even borrow a bike from the Belediye and enjoy your time. A bonus is that it is not overcrowded unlike Istanbul.

Seka park is with going in Izmit Kocaeli. Place is big but sometimes crowded. The view is great.

Absolutely beautiful. We went at 9am and it was so calm and quiet. The kids loved the multiple playgrounds.

Whene go to visit family in Izmit the first thing we do whene we go out we come here for long walks and chats and laughs. Besides the kids love the games and swings available in the park, air is clear and nice, great place to take photos, enjoying the breeze of the sea.
My best memories of Izmit are here in seka park, the sunset view is breathtaking. The birds the familian atmosphere is great, it's so clean and green.

Great for walks along the water or to just take one of the many seats and relax. You can also enjoy the view while at one of the cafe's. There is plenty of opportunity for kids to play away from the water. The whole park has been made fairly safe so the kids won't fall in the water.

Very nice place. Lots of activities specially for children and for walking. You will find cafes with good views on marmara sea. Must visit if you cone to izmit.

Perfect location for some jogging or a walk or to sit by the bay and watch sunset/sundown, listen to seagulls. Also best spot to enjoy some tea, coffee and treats with friends in one of tea gardens.
