Konya Tropical Butterfly Garden Reviews

We really loved this incredible garden and recommend it to any family or colourful butterfly lovers or any traveller who has enough of chilly weather (28 c° inside).
The creatures seem to be treated very well regarding food and environment. Humans and insects feel good together and guards guarantee the good treatment of these protected wildlife treasures.
Congratulations !

This place is just amazing! The government invested a lot in this project. So many butterflies in the garden from all of the world. The building constructed in the shape of the butterfly too. Personnel was very nice and cooperative. Parking lot is big enough and free of charge. It was very humid inside, so I advise to wear a t-shirt or something light, to be able to remove warm clothes when entered into the building. A little cafe at the end of the tour is very good idea, the prices for coffee and other drinks were fine. You can buy souvenirs and various gifts too. Thus, I recommend to visit this garden, it will be more nice to come with kids of course. There is also a small cinema with funny cartoons about insect’s life. Should be interesting for kids as well. 👍

Went here with my family and it was such a fun experience for both the elderly and the kids. When going into the building, the temperature and humidity are quite high due to the living conditions of the butterflies, so be aware of that. When going inside pictures in front of a green screen can be taken which you can buy later with different backgrounds (4 pieces = 100₺). The environment and butterflies were beautiful and definitely an once in a lifetime experience

Amazing place, the entry fee is reasnoble to cheap, the environment there is just positive and appealing, I would go there again if I had the chance, u can visit it for the butterfly tropical exhibition, the flowers park, or just for picnic in the massive beautiful park.
The place is more than lovely

Amazing place all year round. The place consists of a huge closed area air-conditioned for the Butterflies that are brought from around the world. The There are hatcheries and a small display museum to show case the butterfly and different stages of their life.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask at all times when visiting inside the building.
There are several areas inside the building where people can directly walk through the butterflies flight paths.

I felt like I was back in India. It was hot and humid!! And I love the butterflies. 😍 The sit in your hand just fly with you like any other day!
Such a nice place. But they could do better for the long queue outside... Better ticketing and waiting system will do.
Otherwise Çok güzel!! 😍😍
Will be back soon! I hope. 🤞🏿🤞🏿

Amazing idea with amazing architecture!
Inside the sanctuary [butterfly museum] you will find that the environment is controlled. So the temperature stays at 26 degree cel. all the time. Its a wonderful place but don't hurt those beautiful living beings. There's a section for kids to learn about nature. Nature education is very essential for the future generation. Other things you will find out whenever you'll visit there.

Visited the garden with my wife. It was very entertaining, and we enjoyed our visit. The Garden was easy to access, on two levels. Data for butterflies was easy to read, in both Turkish and English. My only comment is the parking; as we mistakenly parked next to the nearby park. After walking around the Butterfly Garden, for about 200 meters, we discovered another car park, with easier access and taxi rank.

A definite must see if you ever visit Konya. I would say it's one of the best butterfly houses I've visited. There are 15 different species of butterflies which equate to 1000s fluttering around at any one time. In order for the butterflies to flourish the temperature has to be very humid inside, just like a real rainforest. In relation to species, I was most impressed by the Atlas moth. The only drawbacks that I can see are, it can get pretty crowded and there's no translations ( in the museum part). On the whole however this was a beautiful place and wonderful experience. Great for kids and adults alike.

The garden was spectacular. The local guides are very well informed and very nice!
Inside, logically, its very humid and hot to imitate a butterfly's habitat. The entrance price ticket is not so expensive either.
Really cool butterflies flutter around you as the guide tells you information about both the garden and a butterfly's life cycle with real life examples. Very recommended for families and a group of friends out and about in Konya.

It's very nice place to visit especially if you have children - in the second part of the excursion they have interactive terminals with games for children and small cinema with cartoons about bugs life, meanwhile in the second part you'll be surrounded by butterflies - they would fly around you and mb if you're luck even sit on you. One problem you can face with is too few translations on English or other languages - so photo translation feature could be quite useful here.

Great place to spend a couple hours seeing and learning about butterflies and other insects. Right next to a love park and coffee shop right outside the ticket office. Kids rated this 5/5

A must see for anyone who loves butterflies. Biggest sanctuary of butterflies. Like a heaven on earth. But PLEASE do not touch butterflies!!! I saw many tourists touching them, walking on them. Please be very careful n take every step cautiously

Real tropics! Very beautiful butterflies! They land on you! Friendly staff. And there is also a museum, a cinema, installations and a gift shop! I recommend to look. The cost is affordable for everyone!

This place is a gem! At first I was reluctant to go only because in my head I was like “what’s so cool about a butterfly sancutary”, but boy was I wrong.
This place is a habitat that’s perfect for butterflies to thrive and flourish. The environment that they’re raised it humid and warm, but not excessive to the point where it’s not tolerable.
The butterflies themselves are absolutely majestic. They come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. They import the cacoons from many different continents and raise them there. There are plenty of fruits, and greens for them to enjoy. The scenery itself is just beautiful.
If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend this place as not only is it cheap, but it’s well worth the time. You’ll have a wonderful photo shoot session in there.

Konya is a very cold city in September, but when you enter the butterfly garden, it's like entering the Philippines.
