Irmet not only provides competitive prices but also provides the best treatments and services . Bariatric surgery was performed very well and post Op follow ups are great . From the very 1st contact everything has been very smooth, we we’re collected from the airport given in car Wi-Fi and water.

Arrived at the hospital taken to our ward and introduced to the nurses.
At this point the team are very efficient and sweep you off your feet for a myriad of tests, including ECG blood tests, ultrasound chest, x-ray lung function test you name it. The test is carried out way and above the care that you would receive back in the UK.

Once everything has been cleared and you’re good for your operation, the next day we were taken down for operations, I myself had breast uplift implants, liposuction, and abdominoplasty.
My husband had gastric sleeve. We were both put in the same room which was immaculately clean cleaners came twice a day. We were both given our operation on the same day. I was required to stay one day longer than my husband however, he was allowed to stay as a companion.
Dr kidar came and checked on my wounds every day, as did my husband surgeon on his wounds.
My operation required me to have drains in place and as such, I actually required two extra days within the hospital. These were given free of charge as Dr Kidar wanted to ensure the best possible recovery for myself.

I have never received such wonderful care by such wonderful people. Everybody from the coordinator to the nurses to the translators are absolutely fabulous. Nobody can do enough for you I will definitely be returning for anything that I require in the future.

I had gastric sleeve surgery 19/6/23 the dr nurses and translators were all absolutely amazing. I have never been to such a clean hospital like this before the cleaners were always cleaning the rooms and corridors would definitely recommend to everyone thank you irmet for making my experience amazing xx

I’ve just had a sleeve gastrectomy with Dr Fatih Sumer at Irmet and I am over the moon.
My coordinator, Alina, has been so efficient throughout the process and made sure everything was in place and ready for me to arrive.
I came out of the airport and was greeted by my own driver, who offered for me to sit in the front, gave me chilled water and drove me to the hospital.
On arriving checks started almost immediately - blood tests, medical history screening, breathing tests, chest x-rays, ultrasound. It was so thorough I couldn’t believe it. (I’ve had private surgery in the UK where I wasn’t even weighed, they just took my word for it!)
Since my operation I’ve been visited at least daily, sometimes twice a day, for examination and check up by Dr Sumer and the nurses visit frequently to check blood pressure and SAT’s . I have never been so well cared for.
I came on my own so was extremely nervous but there was no need to be. The care has been world class. My interpreter visits daily to check I’m OK too and the dietician, Kate, took me through a detailed post surgery lifestyle and diet plan, joined me to the hospitals support group and gave me a full body fat/muscle analysis.

If you’re considering bariatric surgery this is the place to come.

Came to irmet for a gastric bypass after being recommended by my mother in-law who also had the same a year prior. Although I had her for questions I did my own research. This place is by far amazing! Every single step of the way you have someone explaining something for you and to be there for any questions. Aftercare has been incredible! All nurses are very caring and gentle and daily visits from your surgeon. Our coordinator was available 24/7 for anything we needed. the hospital was absolutely spotless. All cleaners clean your room daily with fresh sheets and towels. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful. Will forever recommend irmet hospital.

Absolutely amazing great experience at Irmet Hospital!
I went there for gastric sleeve surgery. At the airport a very polite hospital driver was waiting for us and transferred us to the hospital.

Admission to the hospital was smooth and highly professional. Although I arrived at 1am the nurses already started pre operative assessment with taking blood, doing the testing ECG and taking my previous medical history. Since I couldn’t eat or drink anything they started an iv drip with electrolytes till morning.
Early morning I was taken to the radiology department where they performed a chest x-ray and did ultrasound examination of my abdomen and pelvis as well as colour Doppler of both legs. Then we went to a respiratory department when they did a spirometry test.
In mean time blood test came out and I was seen by Internal Medicine specialist and a surgeon - Prof. Dr. Faith Sumer - such a down to earth person, very experienced and knowledgeable. After examining me he explained the surgery procedure in details, ask if something is unclear to me and we agreed that the operation will be in few hours.
Operation: Anaesthesia Team came to my room, they gave me premedication in the vain and from that point can’t remember anything - first I remember was that I was already in my room, everything was already over!
Postoperative period: First day is painful but manageable with strong pain medication given to me via iv drip. Constant 6 hourly vital parameters monitoring and daily blood tests are routine procedure in this hospital.

Nurses, translators, cleaners, managers and everyone who came across me were very friendly and willing to help.
My surgeon was examining me twice a day every day till I left the hospital!

Conclusion: If I need to do the same operation again - I would do it here without thinking.
I highly recommend this place and Prof. Dr Faith Sumer as a surgeon with more than 30 years of experience in gastro-hepato-biliary surgery.

Just had gastric sleeve and was given 5 star treatment from collection from the airport and throughout my stay all staff were very attentative nothing was too much trouble the cleaners and food delivery staff were also exceptional my sister was my companion and was very well looked after.
I was made to feel like I was in a hotel not a hospital.
The surgeon visited me the evening prior to my op with a translator and was so lovely asking me questions and answering any questions I had he then visited me everyday after until my discharge day.
The nurses were amazing too very caring.
The day of discharge I was collected by a very friendly driver taken to the airport and the driver dealt with everything for us checking us in even would have got assistance for me had I needed it.
I am looking to return for skin removal surgery next year thank you irmet for changing my life

Absolutely faultless. Everyone is very helpful, was optimistic about coming here but have not been worried at all since. Hospital is spotless, the nurses cannot do enough for you, always checking you are okay. Would definitely recommend coming here. No problems with operation (gastric sleeve) surgeon comes to see you every day after. No problems at all. Well worth it.

I went from Portugal to Irmet for bariatric surgery in the beginning of October and I can't put into words the amazing treatment and care I received by the nurses, doctors and translators. Couldn't have picked a better place to do my surgery, the nurses specially made my stay 1000% times more comfortable and peaceful, and if I have more surgeries I will definitely choose to go to Irmet. Absolutely amazing, 5* all around, from getting to the airport being picked up by a lovely gentleman, brought to the hospital, being admitted by the lovely hospital staff, everyone was absolutely amazing. The cleaning is absolutely 5*, the attention to detail is fenomenal and nothing is to much.
The translators are always there and they are amazing to.
Everything went according to plan and I would recommend Irmet Hospital to everyone.

Having weighed up my options and not being able to afford the extra £7,000 to have the surgery in the UK I decided on Irmet hospital in turkey to have a gastric sleeve. The praise I have for there care, service and affordability i can not put into words. The level of care is fantastic and you feel important from the moment you get to the hospital. The room was cleaned twice a day and everyone looks after you fantastically. Going to another country to have surgery was a massive worry but I’m so glad I did it and if you are sitting on the fence then go for it!

Just got back after having a gastric bypass. Yes I was extremely nervous but as soon as I walked in and met by such a lovely team. Had loads of tests then my op the next morning. Stayed 5 nights. From the cleaners to the surgeon they are so professional and nice people. Nothing is too much trouble. Had my first online dietician meeting today which was so well done and gives to all the info you need until you get to the solid food stage. I feel fine yes trapped wind was painful but that's gone now. My care was exceptional.

I went to irmet hospital may 2022. I went for a breast reduction with a companion. My care and treatment was excellent. The staff from nurses,doctors,cleaners were so kind and helpful and could not do enough for you . My health was thoroughly checked before the procedure which was reassuring. They made me feel at ease and safe even though I was in a foreign country . They checked if I was in pain or if I needed anything on regular occasions. I have never felt more cared for in my life . My operation exceeded my expectations and I'm so happy with the result and feel so much more confident in my appearance now. Thanks to isabel walker my Co ordinator for sorting out my journey. Throughout my sister in law’s pregnancy we’ve made Irmet hospital our second home and its staffs our family.
I think the best gynecologist of the hospital is dr. İlke, as she and her lovely assistants are very friendly and caring, they also provide the best service.
If you’re looking for a good gynecologist, i definitely recommend going for Dr. İlke.
