Gestas Eceabat Ferry Pier

Very nice service. The ferry is clean and tidy on the upper deck. During the crossing, beautiful views on the right and left. It's good to have some food with you, as cute seagulls accompany people all the time.

This was the point in the main township from where we boarded a ferry to cross over to the European side of Çanakkale to pay a visit and homage to the martyrs and have a glimpse of the various sites of the war. Because we arrived at this very early in morning, we had quite an easier passage and got saved from the terrible traffic that usually occurs. With the vehicles on the ground floor of the boat, we took the stairs to first floor, from where we enjoyed some hot breakfast, a nice view of the sea and surroundings, and a perfect time for some personal reflections.

Reliable. You can buy tickets with cash. Clean enough, but i don't know for the toilets. Security is present here as well. Be aware for people on the first rows when leaving, that they tend to not regard the safety completely when leaving the ferry, if you are self-aware you will be safe, but you may be better if you wait a bit and are not among the first to leave the ferry.

The pier is a important site for me because mostly İ take minibus from here to Gelibolu . The ferry from Çanakkal arriving mostly at time. The personel is friendly and cool even at rush hours with a lot of traffic. The area surronding the pier is clean. Most of the Turkish banks placed ATM's here. Just opposite of the pier are many shops and restaurants. Several vig street dogs are living here but don't worry, they are not dangerous and greatful for a piece of food,,🐶

On a public holiday like new year, it is not very crowded.

Great ferry. We had a toast and coffee, delicious.

Such a cool experience for someone who never took a ferry boat. To see all the truks and busses loaded on the same platform. Very clean boat and there is also a place inside if you feel cold.
