I highly recommend Crowded House tours and Mr Muharram was an excellent tour guide for Pamukkale and Ephesus. He had the right level of knowledge and also a good sense of humour and always willing to answer more detailed questions when asked. A good communicator and he kept everyone informed of what was happening, where we needed to be and specifics about pick up and drop off times etc.

Mr Mustafa our driver for the majority of our tour was a good safe driver which was appreciated..

Recommend the Gallipoli tour which was very well run. We saw plenty and Burak was both knowledgeable and entertaining.

Would highly recommend it! Went on the Gallipoli tour and Troy tour with my husband. We had a great time. Ibo was our guide for the Troy part. He was really funny and knowledgeable. Burak was our guide for the gallipoli part 😊 He was also very knowledgeable and super engaging. Loved his jokes! I loved that he had a book with pictures, letters and short stories of true people that gave you a real approach about what happened. I am from Colombia and my husband from Australia, so I went into the tour not knowing much, but left having such a better understanding of what happened in 1915 and the respect each side had for each other.

Private ANZAC Cove tour: Dec 1 2023. Excellent service from the moment we enquired about our trip from Australia in early 2023, right through to the door to door transport, and knowledgeable guide for our tour in December. Although a solid 4 hour drive from/to Istanbul, there were plenty of stops. We were privileged to retrace our ancestors’ steps on his campaign as a member of the NZ Otago regiment in their push to take Chanuk Bair in August 1915. Being able to walk along Rhododendron Ridge near to where he most likely lost his life, was something our family will never forget. With the mutual respect for the blood shed on both sides, the Turkish come to remember their lost loved ones, alongside the ANZACs. For these men and for the mothers and families who grieved for their lost sons on the other side of the world. Lest We Forget.

Went on the Gallipoli tour which was really good! Had such an awesome guide, Burak 😊. Who was very knowledgeable. Was about a 4.5hr drive each way from Istanbul, stopped for brekkie, and gave us a lunch. Went into the tour not knowing much and left having such a better understanding of what really happened in 1915 and how much respect each side had for eachother. Very engaging and such a great experience. Lots of stops to the various points of the battle. Would highly recommend

ANZAC tour was phenomenal and well worth its value. The tour guide met us with clear instructions and organization, and took special care to note NZ history, knowing that a Kiwi was in the group. The sites were moving and I highly recommend anyone interested in history (but especially anyone from Australia or NZ) to go. The tour was approximately 6 hours including ferry and driving time. Thank you Bülent for being a wonderful guide!

This was a great tour, to the less-popular but historically-vital Helles. Ibo, our guide, has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the naval battle in March, the Helles and Anzac battles and the overall significance of the Galiipoli campaign. We saw everything we wanted to see - in brutal heat! - in the comfort of an air-conditioned van, and felt that we understood the campaign so much better. We were able to book just a few hours ahead, and everything was punctual and efficient. Well worth it.

Myself and my partner went on the tour of Gallipoli. The tour was well organised, our guide Charlie was fantastic, bus was brand new, not rushed and lots of points to see. A lot of information and stories were shared. We not only learnt a lot about our own country’s war history (Aussie here), we also felt the information was given in such a respectful, sensitive and genuine way. I recommend this tour and hopefully you get Charlie as your guide!

We travelled from Istanbul too do the 2 day tour of Troy and Gallipoli. Brilliant!! I believe the best part of this journey was the knowledge imparted by Crowded House tour guide Burak. The day was informative, interesting and definitely if travelling to Turkey a must do. Bus travel very good. Overnight stay adequate. Tour perfect!

We did the Gallipoli Tour one day and the following day Troy and Pergamon Tour - our guide Ibrahim was excellent and not only was he very knowledgeable but also he was a fun person to be with for two days. He is an asset to the company.

Excellent tour of Gallipoli led by Bulent - he was extremely knowledgeable and easy to understand.

I mentioned an exhibition on Gallipoli created by Peter Jackson in New Zealand and he casually said “oh yeah, I looked after Peter when he was here - he came quite a few times to do research”.

Group size was good! Easy transfer from Canakkale - included ferry and basic lunch. A+

Could of missed Troy but then would not have had the chance to enjoy Cannakale.

The Gallipoli half day tour (12 March 24) was a cracker. Our guide was so knowledgeable and presented a complex story in a short space of tine that was very engaging. Recommend it in a heartbeat.l. Dave Sutherland

This is absolutely the best and most efficient way to see all the sites. You will also get a history lesson. The guide is very knowledgeable and speaks English along with many other languages. The best thing though is the customer service. They always made sure we were happy all day.

Exceptionally excellent full day tour by Ibo (Ibrahim). We were expertly guided across all the major sites of the Gallipoli peninsula. Ibo gave us thoughtful, knowledgeable and interesting guiding of the Ottoman defenses of the Dardenelles, the British landings, the moving memorials and cemeteries, and of course the battles around ANZAC cove, Lone Pine, the remaining trenches , and the Turkish counteroffensive. You could not find a better guide. (Ibo even helped me at a pharmacy when I became unwell on the tour.).

I had Borak (Burak?) as a guide for a Gallipoli with transfers to and from Istanbul. He was well educated on the history of the Gallipoli campaign, friendly, and entertaining. The tour was very enjoyable. I found Crowded house tours to be great with communication, welcoming, efficient, and professional. The drivers were very good also. As an Australian and an ex-servicemen, I highly recommend this company.

Did the Gallipoli tour with CHT on Mon 21st Jan 2024. It was a marvellous experience. Burak is a charismatic, engaging and friendly tour guide with extensive, deep knowledge of the Gallipoli campaign of the first world war. I thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone, CHT are a great crew.

Would highly recommend the Gallipoli tour and great value for money. Well organised with lunch included. Did the tour on 28th November - a very windy and wet day. Ibo was our guide for the day and considering the weather was against us did an amazing job. His knowledge was incredible, he kept us captivated for hours and was very engaging. He had a great sense of humour but his passion for the history of Gallipoli shone through. We found the whole experience very moving and thought provoking and it will be one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey. Thank you Ibo and Crowded House Tours for your total professionalism.
