Namazgah Bastion

We went on 1st May to this place. Next to the sea. And right next to the fortress of Kilitbahir is the bastion. In 1885 French engineers built this place. He plays the most important role through World War I. There are 20 huge German cannons. Only 100 rounds are fired throughout the war. The reason is in British ships. They are equipped with larger and more accurate guns. Now the bastion is a historical monument. A few kilometers south there is another similar bastion, but smaller. This place Must be visited by everyone.

This bastion was the first and the largest bastion built in the narrowest point of the Strait of Gallipoli. It is located right next to the Kilitbahir Castle. When we were on the ferry, I could not tell that there was a bastion on the left of Kilitbahir Castle. I included the photo from the ferry. See if you can tell.

I advise you to take a tour guide. This historical place can't be understood without knowing anything of history. This place is literally awesome.

Bundan daha değerli yerler varmı? Bu dünyada Türk lerin özgürlüğe destan yazdığı topraklar ecdat çileyi çekmiş şimdiki zırtapozlarda beğenmiyor mutlaka hesabını soracak bir makam çıkar. Hükümet ve görevliler buralara bakmıyor arkadaş burada namaz kılıp açılış yaptılar ama sonra kaderine terk ettiler hatta buralara bakan deniz birliğini de yerinden ederek iyice sahipsiz bıraktılar. Yazıklar olsun Ne diyor Akif İstiklal marşında "Yazıktır incitme Ata'nı" bunların kursağı kirli temizlemek ne mümkün.

Tabyalar yeniden eski haline getirilmiş. Tabyanın birisi müze haline getirilmiş. Çanakkale savaşının silahları ve savaş gemileri sergilenmiş. İngiliz gemilerini batıran Seyit onbaşının 225 kiloluk mermiyi tek başına kaldırıp topa yerlestirişi ve ateşleyerek gemiyi batıran filmi sinema olarak gösteriliyor. Mutlaka gidilip görünmesi gereken bir alan.
