Ata Mezze Grill

Best atmosphere and staff! The owner is so kind and definitely took care of us.
The food was homemade, fresh and absolutely delicious.

(We came back a year later, ordered the mix platter and the traditional lentil soup, and it was still just as good as I remembered)

This place is outstanding! Up the hill from the old town on the left hand side near Lime bar....went for lunch on our first day, service brilliant, got free puffy bread and dips and we ordered rocket salad, borek and fried cheese....its was gorgeous!! And cheap too....when in Kalkan we also ordered 3 takeaways from this place to the Villa on villa eats app (they deliver Efes too) one of my favourite places in Kalkan for both lunch and dinner!

Goodness, I just loved this place! Food was like Heaven, I can’t explain with enough words. Everything was so fresh and tasty.
I recommend “lokum izgara” - so soft meat, just melting in your mouth. A little bit expensive (200 Turkish liras in May 2022), but it’s worth it.
There is nothing bad to say about it!
Stuff took such a good care of us, they served us so well.
Amazing place, great atmosphere, delicious food and very very big portions. If you wanna eat in a Turkish style, you should definitely visit there.

By far best food in Kalkan. We ate breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert several times and everytime the taste is exceptional.

Found this amazing place when we arrived in kalkan. Everything we tried in their menu were delicious plus the fresh pita bread. Every dish we tried were juicy and delicious. The service was amazing and always made us feel so welcomed. We had our first meal and last meal of our holiday in this place and it never disappoints. Highly recommended

Very good location with delicious food and appropriate prices. You can have "Kuzu Küşleme" or "Steak Medaillon" each one for 90 TL in 2020. Also the waiters and service was very pleasant.

This is a real gem of a place. We had eaten in the harbour all week and really fancied a good kebab so ventured up the hill to Ata and it was amazing! It was nice a busy so I’m glad we turned up early to get a table. The doner was tasty and the whole thing was a bargain.

Loved the place. The food is really good, service is nice and fast. The price to quality ratio is one of the highest among all the places we have visited nearby. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for kebab and will gladly come back again.

We ordered a plate of grilled meat for 3 , thinking that plate for 2 would not be enough for 2 of us. And we were pleasantly surprised. And we are on keto diet- meat based diet. Fantastic, especially lamb chops! Those who are from Central Asia or South Africa would appreciate the spices used.

Yesterday we went to Ata grill and we had the chance to really enjoy authentic and amazing turkish specials. The meat was amazing, really tender and juicy. The customer service was really really good. They looked after us, even when we didnt need help to make sure that everything was perfect. Always smiling and making us feel comfortable. The atmosphere was really good too. I can recommend it to everyone!

Salad was fresh and tasty, Kebabs were delicious. Pistachio baklava was probably best I have eaten in Turkiye. Prices reasonable. Service superior. If you are short on time do not go there or tell them before hand, so they recommend dishes that can be made faster.

Cracking lunch at this great value kebabs and mezze stop just above three main tourist drag. Very tasty indeed and really friendly service.
