The Olive Garden , Kalkan ( Zeytinlik)

Just got back from this amazing restaurant. The service is first rate as is the food. We'll be coming back for sure. The price was so reasonable, it was full of diners all enjoying such a variety of wonderful dishes.

One of our favourite go to places in Kalkan, we always visit on our first night. It never disappoints, great ambience, fabulous staff and wonderful food. This time I opted for the sea bass fillets - amazing!

Absolutely first rate, superb service. Generally, all the restaurants in Kalkan are very attentive to your needs and love children. But the staff at The Olive Garden are just another level. Fantastic staff, run by super management, with a wonderful view.

Fabulous food, service impeccable. They were super busy on the night of 19.09.22 but were super attentive. I have a nut allergy and they completely understood and checked the kitchen for every meal. Highly recommend ❤

Stopped here by chance on a swelteringly hot day, just looking for a light lunch. We were completely blown away by the food and the service! The leek meze we ordered arrived with some warm, delicious olive bread, both gorgeous. The mains were stunning, both vegetarian and highly recommended: vegetarian kofta (carrot kofta was my favourite, crisp on the outside, sweet and flavoursome on the inside) and cheese and onions cooked in grape juice tart (the pastry was melt in your mouth) were both accompanied by a salad and vegetables all very well cooked and dressed. Even the pomegranate dressing for the salad was amazing! We felt really lucky and totally stuffed by the time we left. If you're in the area, give this place a try. It is something special. Oh, the view is amazing too :)

Excellent service we have a lovely evening 1st class food made my dad feel really special for his 88th Birthday.

Fantastic food and service. Free starters, lamb shank and fillet steak, followed by complimentary homemade ice cream lemon cake small donutswith chocolate sauce. Shame it was our last night as we would definitely return

Güleryüzlü karşılama var ama yabancı müşterilere o kadar alışmışlar ki, Türkler sanki nasılsa cepte tavrı da bir miktar hakim gibi..
Zeytinli ekmekleri şahane, meze ve peynir türlerinden ikramları bile çok lezzetli idi... mayıs ayı için fiyatlar ideal diyebilirim...

Manzarası ve kahvaltısı guzeldi. Çalışanlar ilgili ve güleryüzlüydü.

This was my third time at The Olive Garden and I was somewhat disappointed this time around.

The ambiance and complementary bread, fried halloumi, etc the start were lovely as always, however it was the veg and potato that accompanied the 650 tl / £26 steak that left me shocked and quite frankly, insulted.

No word of a lie, to accompany the expensive steak was a small clay pot, circa 5-6cm in diameter and 3-4cm high. Within this tiny pot was one small piece of broccoli; one small piece of cauliflower; one, yes one, small carrot baton; and, the pièce de résistance, half of a new potato! It was a portion insufficient for even a 5 year old. I asked the waiter where the rest of the veg and potato was and he looked a little bit baffled. On realising that this was all I was getting with this expensive steak I kicked up a fuss and they had no choice but to bring us an additional bowl of veg and potato.

This was a real shame for me as I was looking forward to eating here, but this took the shine off the experience. I’ve eaten plenty of good steak in my life and in Kalkan on multiple trips and this was laughable.

Hopefully this review will make them re-think their extremely tight and ungenerous side portion strategy.

Günübirlik Kalkan gezimiz sırasında akşam yemeği için tercih ettiğimiz mekan. Teras manzaralı kısmında oturduk. Terasında sigara içilmeyen nadir mekanlardan. 5 yetişkin 2 çocuk olarak gittiğimiz mekanda sebzeli köfte, hamburger menü, çeltik kebabı ve zeytinlik usulü balık yedik. Şefin tavsiyesi üzerine zeytinlik usulü tercih ettiğimiz balık levrek ve karides türlerinden fırınlamış ve baharatlanmış özellikle zencefil yoğun olarak kullanılmış tadını beğendim tavsiye ederim. Mezeler mekanın ikramı olarak başlangıç olarak geliyor. Zeytinli ekmek, sigara böreği, humus, haydari, patlıcan, pancar mezeleri ve kızarmış peynir . Mekanın lavabolarında ped olması özellikle mutlu etti. Menüyü ve bikaç mekan görselini bırakıyorum.
