I have never experienced such genuine hospitality and service in any restaurant before! The food was extremely delicious too! They immediately brought out the starters a minute after we ordered, the owner himself came over and gave us free fries (such a humble man, he was also cleaning tables himself) then he came and did a great presentation of a dish we ordered that comes in a barrel. All the sides were so tasty! Mushroom and cheese too! After we finished eating, they served us free tea and a sweet made of rice (10/10) Their cheese kunafa is just perfect! And after we finished the tea and sweet, they served us with free Turkish coffee.. it was sweet and bitter..just amazing! The owner literally took my permission and carried my 5 month old sleeping baby all the way to our car and handed me the baby after I sat inside. Closed the door for me aswell! What a wonderful person! You will never get such a service anywhere in the world! 100% RECOMMENDED. MUST TRY! MUST VISIT!

Where to start…. This restaurant filled up the table with little starters like chutney, yogurt dip, salads, cheese and a delicious bread. All super high quality fresh ingredients. I ordered 2 yogurt drinks( wow delicious) and a cheese mushroom starter( also wow delicious). Main course portion was perfect and quality of meat was great. Prices are very reasonable. Staff very helpful with great service. Thank you to the owner and all other staff for your warm hospitality.

Stopped here on the way to the Nevşehir airport for a quick bite, but was very pleasantly surprised! We had dinner in multiple other restaurants in Goreme and Uchisar, but this is the best meal we’ve had here in Cappadocia

The food is local and authentic — we saw plenty of locals eating here while we were dining. We ordered the Adana Kebab, the Chicken Sis, and the Kunefi. All were phenomenal!

Excellent meal of chicken wing kebabs, beef stew and mushroom casserole. The mezzes and freshly baked breads included with the meal were very flavourful. Friendly service and a comfortable dining room . Highly recommended

Be careful! It’s easy to find yourself eating too much here—we thought we only ordered a couple of things but we ended up with a small feast. In combination with the fact that all of the food is tasty and fulfilling, this is the spot to visit before your seasonal hibernation.

Absolutely delicious food and great service. Disappointed with the food options in Göreme, we decided to drive out in search of good Turkish food. And this restaurant did complete justice to both our search and our taste buds. The owner, Mehm-ET himself is a very kind person who took good care along with his assistant Afsana. We went back twice in our two day stay and tried most food. Our tip: The Testi kebab is a must try and my personal favourites - Acisiz urfa and Patlican kebabi.

Wonderful food, wonderful service! The lady who served us spoke good English. She’s very kind and attentive. We were so surprised by the generous portions of the appetizers. Everything is reasonably priced too. Highly recommended!

We just stumbled on this restaurant as we were leaving to the airport. The food was excellent, the best we had in Cappadocia. We had the Adana and the chicken.
The service was also incredibly nice. They just kept giving us Turkish tea and coffee. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Had an excellent meal at Mehm. Food was delicious and extremely reasonable for Americans. So if your travels take you to Nevsehir don’t miss it!
